House is perfect size for 4 adults and up to 4 children. Layout is great for both bringing everyone together and for allowing some personal space as needed. Location cannot be beat! Right at the tip of the island, walking distance to Reach Beach. We spent our days paddle boarding, kayaking and boating around the little islands dotting the area. All in all a perfect week of Maine beauty and peace!

Beautiful home with lots of room inside and out. Great kitchen with everything you need for a big family lobster dinner. We saw dolphins, bald eagles and lots of other wild life from the amazing wrap around porch.

This house was beautiful and the grounds were amazing! My family of four was there with one set of grandparents. Everything was easy.

The pictures do not do this amazing house and property justice. The open floor plan, giant windows and vaulted ceilings give the entire house a bright, airy feeling. The kitchen and breakfast bar setup was perfect for our large group and it didn't feel crowded at all. The expansive back deck offers a breathtaking view of the ocean. I cannot say enough about the beach area. It is has newly landscaped stairs that lead to an emense, calm, private beach. Nicole had the extra kayaks already at the house when we arrived and we paddled to one of the islands for a picnic and swimming. We had a wonderful time and we would recommend this rental to anyone who wants to enjoy the shores of Maine in peace and quiet.

The house was great. Location on VRBO map is wrong though. It is at the tip of Oak Point. One caution that was not an issue for us is that one room has two bunk beds (total 4 beds). It was hot while we were there but the water was surprisingly warm enough to cool off in without freezing!

Double booked...
Double booked...
Well we had originally booked a different listing through vrbo and this host, but we were notified 5 days before we left they had double booked. We were given a very limited selection of houses to stay at or our money back. We'd already made other investments into the trip, so we ultimately settled on one their other properties. They did an even exchange so that was easy. The house was nice and spacious, but had some issues with the lone full bath, it leaked into the dining room. I notified them multiple times of the issue, but ultimately no one to my knowledge came to look at it. The house was also close to the road with some very early morning truck traffic. Over all we spent most of our time out and about exploring Maine! Other than that house was nice.
