About this resort
City view – Westside, no balcony, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, 2 separated queen-size beds. Address: 4040 Galt Ocean Drive – 8th floor. The Ocean Manor is a beautiful resort on Galt Ocean Mile, the best location in Fort Lauderdale. It has a large bedroom with one queen-sized bed and another queen-sized bed separated by a wall and door for your comfort. There is one smart Roku 32' TV and one smart Roku 55' TV, a dresser with 6 drawers, a bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The bathroom is completely tiled with a sink and walk-in shower. Mini kitchen equipped with mini refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster, electric skillet, utensils, glasses, dishes, and cutlery is supplied, with a table with 4 chairs. Tiled floors throughout the apartment. We provide: * Bed linens, and 1 towel kit per person. * Iron and ironing board. * Hairdryer. *Free WiFi (no password) in the whole building and into the apartment. * Non-smoking Condo. * Laundry Room in the Basement (not included in the rental rate). * Valet Parking no matter how many times you get in and get out (not included in the rental rate). * There is no other parking available in the neighborhood. *Only 21 years old person allowed. *Buses and trolleys are available on the street. The resort has a large heated pool and private access to the beach, it's also right on the ocean. Tiki Bar in the pool area, a restaurant in the lobby area, a Beauty salon, a Coffee shop, 24h front desk, and a convenience store. The condo is within walking distance to shopping, and groceries and you can enjoy the nightlife and local bars. It's close to Commercial Boulevard, Oakland Park, and the Pier in Lauderdale by the Sea, which is a great place for nightlife with local bars. On the beach, there are several water sports activities including Jet Ski rentals. Across the street, there is an open shopping Plaza that offers - CVS, Walgreens, McDonald's, Dunkin' Donuts, Winn Dixie, Deli's, Restaurants, clothes shops, and hair and nail shops. Check-in at 4:00 p.m. and checkout at 10:00 a.m.

Quick weekend golf trip, worked out perfect for walking to food and beach is out the back door. The coffee bar in the lobby is exceptional as well.

It was a great location ... right on the beach. Many eateries close by and on the property. The free shuttle was a great option, unfortunately we didn't find out about it until 3 days into our vacation. Our unit was clean, most needed items were sufficiently stocked, the owners were very accommodating ... if you had any questions, they were prompt in responding. A great time was had by all!

Location checks all the boxes. Tiki Bar. Pool. Beach. What they don’t tell you. One bed/pillows hard as a rock. The other bed you continually roll into the dip in the bed all night. The beds are old, on rollers and creak loudly. If another couple/kids come with you don’t expect privacy with the paper thin wall and opening at the top of the wall. The ceiling fan made a horrible noise all night for 2 nights. I think my Husband finally fixed it. You can’t control the room temp. You have to message the owner to change it for you. We ran out of toilet paper and we’re only allowed 1 bath towel & 1 wash cloth per person per stay. We only stayed 3 nights. Not sure if same rules apply for longer stays. We changed rooms after our 3 nights were up and it is CHEAPER to book directly with the property. We have unlimited towels, toilet paper, the beds are like laying on clouds and after being out in the sun all day it sure is nice to be able to control the room temp. And, might I add, we now have a balcony. Huge disappointment.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed it immensely! Room was good, but we needed a bigger refrigerator and more cooking utensils. Other than that, it was perfect! The Ocean Manor Resort is amazing and the Tiki Bar and the staff were awesome! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Manor apartment. It was located in a nice beachfront resort with a fun tiki bar and delicious Italian restaurant on the property. We were within walking distance of several great restaurants as well. We enjoyed walking the area. The apartment was comfortable and just right for the days we came in to explore FortLauderdale before our cruise.

Property has easy access to a private beach, which is great. Biggest surprise was how good the food at the tiki bar was. We had many meals there and everything was delicious. The Italian restaurant on site was great too.

Great spot been to OM for many years, I was able to book a day earlier since plans changed and 803 wasn't rented. We checked out 1 hour late & was charged an entire night and locked out. We were cleaning & listening for the cleaning people which didn't come while we were packing and cleaning.

Plenty of sleeping room but wall does not go up to ceiling so not a private bedroom. Beds were very comfortable.

The check in was seamless. The room would have been great if it was just a couple staying. Not really enough room for 4 adults. The unit was clean and it served its purpose. It needs more airflow to make it to the private room. Loved the location. Right on the beach. The hotel it was in had a spa which we used and an amazing tiki bar. Amazing food. Would return if it was just my husband and I.

AMAZING STAY AND CANT WAIT TO REPEAT!
The property was very cozy, clean and had everything you needed to get started on vacation. Loved the room and how it separated the two queen size beds for privacy . Loved it!!! The ocean the people the service was impeccable!! Best food service!!!! Will return and rent same room !! Awesome place to get away for a mini vacation!!

Seemed like minimal rules and no staff watching everything you do. Me and my drummer felt like we owned the place. The unit was very clean and easy to live in for a week.

The hotel was probably one of the best on the strip, the tiki bar was the deciding factor for us. It was always open, great menu, and a party right downstairs. The pool and beach were great. Seemed like minimal rules and no staff watching everything you do. Me and my drummer felt like we owned the place. The unit was very clean and easy to live in for a week.

Parking is only valet which was well managed, just bring plenty of singles for tips :) Grocery store (Winn Dixie) very close, and also an easy walk to Fort Lauderdale by the sea where there's many restaurants and shops. Owners were quick to respond with any questions.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights over our Anniversary weekend. We didn’t go anywhere, just stay at the beach and hotel/resort. We rented chairs and umbrella on the beach and ate/drank on property. Food and drinks over priced but it is a tourist destination. The waitresses/waiters and staff were nice and helpful. I had an issue with the front desk when we arrived. Prior to our visit I asked the owner if we could leave luggage at the front desk since we arrived before checkin. I was told yes and when we got there both front desk people were rude, disrespectful and didn’t understand customer service. I told them we just arrive and I asked about leaving luggage so we could enjoy the amenities while we waited until checkin. They looked at me like I was crazy and both laughed and said “oh no we don’t do that, who told you that?” I told them and then asked if we could go down to the tiki bar. The lady said yes because it was public but they don’t allow luggage. I said “oh they don’t allow luggage?” And she said “well it is a restaurant” like I was dumb. The tone and attitude was unnecessary. We then asked the valet if he would help us and he had no issues and was very pleasant. We had drinks and appetizers at the tiki bar right on the beach until 4p. It was super easy to use door code and enter the room which I was happy to not have to deal with the front desk. We actually enjoyed our stay and room and plan to bring our kids next time.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Pool, beach, and Tiki Bar all at one location was a no brainer and made this mini getaway very enjoyable! The place was clean and just what we needed for a only a few nights.

The cost of valet parking was more than we were told it would be by the owner. We were unsure where we were going or what to do upon arrival. Tried calling the # provided….no answer 3 times. Email was answered within 45 minutes. We arrived 3 hours early and was not allowed to leave things in room. We were told it would be $60 (?) to do this. I could understand if we were inconveniencing the cleaning service but the room was ready.
The hotel clerk was very helpful as to what to do with our things. Actually by the time we received any communication it was less than 2 hours early and we were already changed and eating at the tiki bar. Thank hotel staff.

It was promoted as beach front with a city view. View was of parking lot. Nothing about the place was personable. Also, we were provided 2 towels for the stay, one for each person. I personally use 2 towels for a shower, one for drying off and one for hair. My daughter had one towel to use for the stay and I had one. No hand towels or dish towels to clean glasses or silverware. No beach towels.

Place was clean, sheets were soft, kitchenette was sufficient for a three-night escape from the Midwest’s winter. Easy walking distance to a grocery store and pharmacy. Unexpected bonus was the restaurant and bar on the beach.

Nice location., and convenient location. Beach access is great but Ocean Manor opens beach to general public which causes overcrowding etc. unit was adequate but seating was uncomfortable.

Just what you need
This place was exactly as listed. It is the bare minimum for a place to stay which is fine cause unless it's raining you want to be outside. The shower is hot, curtains are a plus, and the room divider is good to have. If you go in the winter it does get cold with no heat so make sure you bring a blanket! Overall..it's on the beach, there's a bar, and a bed...everything you need!

This property was perfect for us. Most things we needed were available onsite from swim trunks to food. The apartment was very clean and tidy. We would absolutely recommend staying there. The host responses very quickly to any question I had. You are literally an elevator ride and a very few steps to the beach.
