Heather and I are extremely excited to extend an invitation for your family to enjoy an amazing getaway at our Dream Resort Lodge style Lake House. HD Cedar Creek Lake Lodge - perfect for large family and lots of friends. Features vaulted Great Room with wood beams and a stone floor to ceiling Fireplace as focal point. Outdoors: screened porch with Fireplace and outdoor chef's kitchen with serving bar, refrigerator drawers, built in cooler, sink, gas grill, sink, 2 cooktop burners, seating and Fireplace. Waterside, ground-floor Master with 2-sided Fireplace to master bath with claw-footed tub, twin vanities, shower and walk-in closet. Kitchen is large with adjacent dining area and stairwell wet bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and common small appliances. Upstairs: 2 private bedrooms and a Bunk Room with private bathroom, fireplace, wood beams, TV, and balcony entry. Waterside: paved area spans 150' waterside for lounging and entertaining. Use our Jet Ski drive on wave port docking station for 2 - Jet Skis. Bring your own jet ski. If bringing a boat contact us for slip details at the Marina that is less than 5 minutes away! Boat Dock has a upper level Party Deck. This property is Gated with 2-story porte-cochere entry on 2 lots enclosing .75 of an acre. Lone Star Marina is conveniently located around the corner with courtesy slips available on Non-holidays. Family of four (2 adults, 6 & 8) spent Columbus Day weekend at the lake. Perfect weather (granted water levels low) for being on the water, bike rising, grilling, fire pit, football, music and laughs. Plenty of space with a wonderful host in Heather.

What a fantastic property for an extended family gathering! The covered outdoor area is fabulous as is the spacious front yard with lots of room for games. Darrel and Heather's communication was responsive and prompt.
Yes, we were a little concerned with what seemed pretty hard line "rules" (and we probably called/texted too much for fear we'd do something wrong), but as the long weekend went on, it was all fine and good. And we get it: this is a family's vacation home, not something that's owned by a faceless corporation. And the bright side of that is that everything you need is there, and the owners did a great job of responding to our needs.
We hadn't realized from the photos or description (and maybe it's there and we just didn't read it), but do know that to leave the large "bunk room," unless you go down the outside spiral staircase, you have to walk through one of the bedrooms. It worked out fine for us, but it could be awkward depending on your group (and the weather). On the bright side -- the bedroom that is walked through has direct access to a bathroom. :)

Hosts from the first communication to the last were so helpful and kind. The house came very well stocked for practical living for example: Bug spray, brooms, blower, extended dusters for webs for the outside because let’s face it, those creepy crawlers are gonna show up. Inside access to cleaning supplies and there was nothing we needed that we couldn’t find and we cooked every meal. Very open space with sturdy comfortable furniture! 10 adults had plenty of space to gather and get away for some quiet time. The patios were great. Outdoor cooking was set up amazingly. We did not use the outdoor spaces as much as I would have liked to due to heat, so we would love to enjoy it in the cooler months and see the fireplaces going.
Master bedroom was amazing, upstairs King room was nice. The only thing I would want people to know is the only way into the bunk room ( which is amazing) from inside is through the other queen bedroom, thankfully we were all close friends who didn’t mind because we were too old to walk the spiral staircase from outside, plus the spiders liked them ;)
We had the best time on the lake until we didn’t;) water was glass 5 out of 6 days perfect for waverunners and boat….on our last full day we took on water but made it out safe and sound!!! Our host was gracious to allow us to use his slip as the water was too low to use the boat lift . The big driveway was awesome and the shade on these record breaking days of heat were appreciated!!!

We rented this home for our annual family get together that is growing with more spouses and grandkids being born each year. This house had everything we need. The volleyball court, ping pong table, and basketball goal kept everyone busy and happy. Bucket list goal: family game night. We played volleyball and a few board games as a family. It was such a wonderful time. Quiet and restful.

The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for a large family or group of friends. The outdoor kitchen and screened in porch were great for hanging out an watching a game. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay at Cedar Creek Lake!

1) the house is great, pristine. Nice BBQ area.
2) the lake spot isn't the best. It is in a kind of canal, the dirt gets stuck there, not good for swimming.
3) The check-in process was terrible, i had to contact the owner to get the check-in info (which normally comes automatically). Then i got to know I had to sign another contract ?!? What if i did not like the contract? The period of cancelation with refurn had passed already. Contracts must be agreed before any payment.

Our favorite lake house on Cedar Creek Lake! Perfect for a family getaway. We had 6 adults and 4 kiddo’s. The Property and the house---just absolutely PERFECT! Everything is just as pictured. We pretty much lived in the outdoor kitchen/bar/outdoor living space area. Kids and adults played ping pong. Great layout and the kids room/bonus room (with their own bathroom) was fabulous for us adults. Had everything you could possibly need. Seriously, just pack a bag, and be ready to relax! Boat house full of life jackets, big tube to pull behind boat, huge blue mat to float on and chill. They did have a kayak and which is a nice amenity and will plan to use when the weather cools down more from this Texas heat. Heather & Darrell were such fabulous hosts with great communication! The house was pristine! The property is nice and quiet and the goat farm next door was fun for the kids (and the adults – funny goats). Rent their pontoon boat! It was very nice and the house is super close to the Marina, which was convenient. We are looking forward to returning! Can’t thank ya’ll enough Tinglov’s!

The property is just as beautiful as the pictures show! The owners were wonderful and everything you need is at the home already except food! We rented the pontoon boat and the marina was so helpful in getting us on the water. Definitely recommend. !

Great Lake House
One of the best homes we have rented. The house was very clean and had a lot of room. Kitchen was fully stocked. We did not have to bring anything extra. A/C worked perfect and kept the house cool to our liking. I had 12 guest and we all slept comfortably. The owners were very nice and responded to any question I had immediately. The lake was low so I wasn’t able to park my boat at the dock. The owner did get me a boat slip at the marina so I did not have to trailer the boat every day. We also rented the pontoon they offered and had a great time on it as well. Their pontoon ran perfect and is in great shape. Definitely recommend renting their pontoon. Everything about the house was perfect. Loved that the property was gated as well. Left a little safer with the gate. We will definitely be renting this home again. Everything about the property and owners was 5 star.

Great place to Vacay!
The house is well furnished with everything you might need- from crockpots and pans to an amazing sized washing machine and coffee. The lake front is beautiful. We rented their golf cart and boat also, which was very convenient. Great bbq area with ping pong outside and big ol screen inside when that texas heat gets to be too much. Just as advertised.

Family vacation
The house had everything we needed in kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of outdoor area to play and hang out. Need more trash cans for outside, large groups create significant trash especially when cooking at home but owner wanted us to limit trash to one outside can. Impossible 😊
Cove area was small and shallow during our visit, clearly nothing can be done about that, but was nice for just floating around by dock area.
We enjoyed our visit!! Had ages 3-60, everyone had a good time.

We never heard the kids at all (who stayed up much later) when we all went to bed. We enjoyed sitting by the lake at the fire pit, and we loved the upper deck by the lake too. The pontoon boat was loads of fun. We rent houses all over the world, and this rental was one of our favorites for sure. The owners were super communicative and responsive. We'll be back!

The house is absolutely amazing. It has a "homey" feel to it and from the moment you walk in the doors you can feel yourself relaxing. We cooked most of the time we were there and enjoyed family dinners around the large dining table. Mornings were spent on the screened in porch drinking coffee. Even creamer is provided! The kitchen is well stocked with any utensils you might need. I absolutely love to fish and we caught some very nice sized catfish off the dock. The upper level of the dock was the perfect place to watch our kids out tubing on the lake. We loved being able to dock our jet ski at the house and the marina is right down the road to launch your jet ski. We watched football games on the outside TV and listened to music or played ping pong ball in the evenings as well. There are steps leading down to the water and we really enjoyed floating there right by the house. It was a fabulous family trip and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. We are already planning on coming back next year. The owners are really nice people who were prompt to answer any questions we had. Thank you so much for sharing your house, it was wonderful!

A great vacation!
We really enjoyed staying in this property! The large front and back yards enabled us to enjoy the space and feel comfortable with the safety of our young grandchildren. The water frontage was GREAT and we loved the ability to safely swim right off the dock (sandy bottom, no trees, etc to attract snakes and plenty of fresh water flow into the channel). The home was very nice and had plenty of room for everyone. There were several places to sit and relax. Heather was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. I am sure we will be back to this beautiful property!

We had a good time. The deck is awesome we’re we spent most of the time. The outdoor kitchen & sitting area needs to be deep cleaned & the house needs some TLC, but over all a good time!
