About this house rental
Situated in East Sandwich, this charming house for $699 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Newly renovated and decorated, sleeps 8, located 1 mile from Sandy Neck Beach. Sandy Neck beach has a lot to offer, whether you come to soak up the sun, beachcomb, swim, or take a drive out directly onto the beach (permit required). It's all just a hop, skip, and a jump from the house! Recent Update: - the beaches are open. There is a concession stand at the beach so no need to pack your lunch or snacks. - they have put in a sidewalk that runs from our house to the beach, so it is now easy to walk or bike to the beach - the central AC is brand new, replaced in the spring of 2020 Sandy Neck Beach is 1 mile away, parking pass included for your stay. Beach has trademark dunes, beautiful ocean front, showers and concession stand. This saves you $20 per day. The house has 4 bedrooms, an eat-in (seats 8) chef's kitchen (large island, granite counter tops), family room with 60'' tv (with cable), formal living room, and rec room with a pool table and 48'' TV with cable). Bedrooms have king (master with en-suite), queen, 2 twins and bunk beds. 3 full baths (and outdoor shower) make showering after the beach or getting ready to go out easy. Washer and dryer on sight. Wifi, cable, central AC. Spend your days at the beach and come home to barbecue (weber grill) in the back yard. Seating for 8 outside. Neighborhood tennis court is in walking distance. A play structure with slide and swings make it great for kids. Lots to do in the area or lounge comfortably at home. The play structure was just updated with new swings and repainted this year. Some restaurants and shopping within walking distance, otherwise short ride to experience everything the Cape has to offer. There are grocery stores (Stop & Shop and Whole Foods), shopping (small coastal shops and big box retailers), restaurants and galleries very close to the house We have high chair, pack and play and booster seat onsite so everything is there if you are traveling with kids. We do not allow dogs or other pets for to stay at the house (although, depending on the age & type of dog, we may be able to make an exception). We do want people to know that it is not a pet free house all year round. We provide sheets and towels for your stay.

This house was the perfect fit for our stay. We were on the cape for our son's wedding and needed a good size place to accommodate other family members. Super spacious and owners have a great taste for decor! Extra bonus was the location of the rehearsal dinner...right across the street!

This house is situated in a quiet and picture perfect neighborhood; tree lined streets, amazing gardens, and close access to the amenities and cultural sites of Sandwich and Barnstable. The house was spacious with both incredible indoor and outdoor spaces that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved the yard game Mollky in the back yard, and the Sandy Neck Beach was just over a mile away. We grilled and cooked and ate as a family every night. The beds were incredibly comfortable and sleeping was a pleasure. The central A/C was not needed often but was a wonderful amenity. Fans in almost every room helped move the air around. The owner communication was impeccable. We loved our time and look forward to coming back again soon!

We had a fabulous vacation at the cape and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. The back yard is private and especially helpful for the toddler age who need space to run and play. The beach was beautiful and not overly populated. The owner was easily accessible and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you, Cory, George and Tyler. We hope to return to your beautiful home some day!

Spent a long weekend at Cory’s place. Cory was a great host and was very fast with communication. The location is perfect for the beach and has a nice back yard to hang out in. Would definitely recommend.

This house was so much fun to stay in! Very clean, everything was as described, great location for our activities, especially loved the round dining table. The only thing i would have added was rugs and bathmats for the bathroom floors. Kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The cleaning staff was very kind to us when we were a bit late leaving due to to a dead battery in the car. All worked out great!!!

A Beautiful Home on Cape Cod in East Sandwich
This well-cared for home on Cape Cod in East Sandwich was beautifully designed with lovely furnishings as well as a nice patio with bbq grille and table/chairs. The backyard was private and an attractive area to visit outdoors with family and/or friends. In the spacious kitchen, there was an island with seating as well as a dinette. Although we didn’t have time to do any cooking, there were plenty of dishes and pots/pans. Cory discovered the microwave didn’t work shortly before we arrived and quickly managed to install a new one which we appreciated. The dining room was absolutely gorgeous with a huge round table and seating for 8-10 people and pretty lighting. There were two very nice, comfortable living areas downstairs (one with large tv).
It was an ideal location as the wide Sandy Neck Beach on the ocean was a quick 5 minute drive away and an easy, convenient 10-20 minute drive to any of the other historic towns on Cape Cod.
Our time here was simply too short and we would definitely stay in this wonderful home again.

Exactly as pictured, beautifully decorated (love all the art), well stocked with kitchenware and equipment, games, beach gear. All of the beds were extremely well and actually inspired me to get a new bed.
Host was very reachable by text and very responsive.

We had a fabulous time at this house! We were a multi-generational family (grandparents, parents, and one toddler) and this house was perfect for us. The play structure in the back was FANTASTIC- very new and provided hours of toddler entertainment. The first floor has several rooms, rather than one big open-concept kitchen/living room, which allowed us to spread out. But the kitchen was still plenty big enough for us to all be there at once. The house was VERY clean and tidy, and the beds were super comfortable.
A few things to be aware of, though: dog(s) definitely spend time in this house- while it was overall very clean there was some dog hair here and there. For those who are allergic I thought this would be helpful to know. Also the kitchen, while adequately stocked, was definitely not a chef's dream. I imagine most people don't come to Cape Cod to cook up a storm, but if you're planning to do a lot of cooking I would recommend bringing your own knives and perhaps some essential kitchen utensils to make things easier. I only mention these things to be helpful to others, they were not major downsides for us!

Nice at first glance...
When we first arrived we thought the house was absolutely wonderful and even messaged the owners that the house was beautiful. Which it is! Just some things that were disappointing....
The cleanliness was really poor. Fridge was dirty and had a ton of food from past guests, all three showers were dirty with hair found in all of them, and we found random items in the couch cushions as well. On the plus side, bedding was very clean.
The property notes said the dryer was broken, so we spent the whole week not using it, just to find out that the notes were not updated and it worked the whole time.
The A/C does not go below 75 degrees, not the end of the world, but hot at night
The play structure for the kids was beyond filthy and not useable without a lot of elbow grease, but there is a nice park less than 2 miles away. I wouldn’t recommend this house for younger kids. The staircase to the upstairs is beautiful, but very steep. We had a lot of safety issues with our 2 year old.
Also, as stated from a previous review...this house does not supply toilet paper. Seriously? Seems a little ridiculous.
Overall, if the bathrooms and fridge were cleaner we would highly recommend for adults, but for the money and a high cleaning fee, we were disappointed.
We found this house not to be overly kid friendly or senior friends. Steep stairs, no hand railing leading to the house, and lots of breakable decorations.

Well maintained and very comfortable
Eight of us came from NYC and we stayed for two nights for a short whale watch trip. The house is arguably one of the cleanest in our many multi-family trips. The master bedroom's bed was amazingly comfortable. The door passcode was my cellphone number which was very nice. The neighborhood is very quiet with good privacy. We bought 8 live lobsters for dinner and found a huge lobster streaming pot in a closet. We were pleasantly surprised. All the accessories were readily available. My wife and I really liked the house and we wish we had more time to enjoy it! Thank you Cory and George!

The house is beautifully furnished and has plenty of space for everyone.
We rented this house for a long awaited girls long weekend. Unfortunately Hurricane Florence disrupted our plans. The homeowners were so sweet and allowed us to push our trip out by two weeks. We could not have been more appreciative of their willingness to work with us.
The house is beautifully decorated. We felt at home in the large kitchen and sitting rooms as soon as we arrived. The beds and pillows were comfy and we had plenty of toilet paper and supplies to get us started. We had a great time and a great stay.
I would suggest buying water for the stay. The water is pretty hard so you will want some bottled water to drink, to make coffee and brush your teeth.

We stayed here with 2 families: 2 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of room, kitchenware, towels, and sheets. The beds were high quality and very comfortable. The owners have done a fabulous job of decorating. It is a wonderful family vacation home. We wouldn’t hesitate coming back!

Wonderful Family Trip !
The house was definitely a great find ! We had 7 adults for a weekend trip to explore Cape Cod, Salem and Boston and all of us agreed the house was very nice and completely functional for us as a base point to venture out on day trips. With that said, a couple of suggestions - the outside lights to the front steps were not functioning (very dark and hard to see getting to the door), and the lack of available toilet paper. We only had 1 1/4 rolls in each restroom (3 total) which went pretty quick with 7 of us. By Day 2 one had none and by Day 3 all were gone with no additional rolls to be found. These were our only two issues during the stay, otherwise, definitely a great house for a large group of people in a very nice setting. Thanks and it would definitely be our choice when we return next year !

Lovely home in a great location
This was the most comfortable and beautiful home we've stayed yet. Each room was beautifully decorated and lovley down to the last detail. Where to begin...the home is on a very quiet street, in a wooded area. Pretty landscaping and wonderful playground in yard for kids. Spacious kitchen with modern appliances was definitley a plus and made cooking enjoyable. Large tvs and comfy couches, definitley enjoyed the pool table downstairs. I really wanted to stay and live in the house. There is plenty of space in this home. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and fluffy pillows. My family truly was comfortable. The location is close to the beach, and local shopping. The friendly owners were very accomodating and were very easy to get in touch with. I look foward to staying here every time we visit Cape Cod, what a charming town.
