About this house rental
Nestled in South Haven, this attractive house for $549 per night is a great choice for your next break. Located just .3 miles from Newcome Beach, Sandy Feet Retreat is sure to be your family's new favorite beach house in South Haven. Living Spaces Enter the front door and you'll immediately find yourself in the cozy, inviting living room. This open floor plan space is decked out with carpeting and a plush seating group surrounding a flat screen TV, perfect for streaming your new favorite show. The basement level offers an authentic theater room, with movie theater seating for 8, an electric fireplace, and a 70” screen for taking in the newest blockbusters. What a great way to spend the occasional rainy day…or special movie night. There's also a game room down here, with a foosball table for friendly competition, as well as a sofa to rest in between matches. You'll even have a kitchenette, complete with mini-fridge and microwave. You won't even have to go upstairs to make popcorn for the movie! The upper level offers a quiet seating area with two benches between the two family suites. This is a great spot to enjoy a few moments of silence, read a few pages in your book, or even practice yoga. Peak & Non-Peak Season During the peak season, this home would have a 7-night minimum and would rent Saturday - Saturday. If you are interested in staying a full week in the non-peak season, September through April, please send in an inquiry with your travel dates and we are happy to supply weekly pricing for your trip. During the non-peak season, 2 night reservations will receive a 3rd night free! Restrictions may apply, please inquire for more details about the additional night. Cooking & Dining The fully-equipped and outfitted kitchen has everything the group chef needs for inspired culinary feats! This stylish space offers stainless steel appliances, modern countertops, and up-to-the-minute pendant lights over a center island with seating for four. The elegant dining table for 8 is adjacent to the kitchen and enjoys abundant sunshine through sliding glass doors leading out to the large patio. Bring back the tradition of family dinners here as you talk about your adventures and make wonderful new memories. Bed & Bath The upper level of the home offers two family bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and a twin-over-double bunk, and TV. These two bedrooms share a full hall bath with a walk-in shower. The main level offers a primary ADA-accessible suite, with a king bed, TV, seating area, and ensuite bath with walk-in shower. The second bedroom on this level offers a queen bed and TV. A hall bath features a tub/shower. The basement level has two additional queen bedrooms, each with a TV and seating area. They share a full bath with a tub and a separate walk-in shower. Outdoor Spaces Lazy days soaking up the sun and floating around the pool are yours to enjoy at Sandy Feet Retreat! With plenty of open and covered seating, everyone can enjoy the warm summer days the way they want to on the generous patio area. The built-in grill tempts you into the time-honored tradition of a family barbecue. In the evenings, break out the s'mores to enjoy around the fire pit as you tell your stories and make your plans. The Sandy Feet Retreat is a great place to be. This house was awesome. Surrounded by trees, it felt calm and secluded, and the pool was great (note, we were there the first few days of June, and the heated pool was hot enough to enjoy). It was close enough to downtown that we were able to drive there with a golf cart, and far away enough from downtown that a deer walked through the front yard at sunset every night. Would 100% go again. Very responsive management team.

The location was perfect and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was dirty (lots of leaves) and the house was smaller than expected. We picked this house due to having a wheelchair ramp and lift chair. The lift chair was broken so we were very disapointed. Overall a nice stay.

Very nice, well maintained nicely landscaped property. The pictures make the pool appear larger than it is, despite this the family really enjoyed the pool. Two of the three bath tub drain plugs wouldn't close so we could only use one tub for kids baths. The downstairs theater was a big plus especially during the several rain storms we had early in the week. Walking distance to a nice beach though the owners next to the public beach weirded out if anyone approached their private beach. Overall our family really enjoyed out stay in South Haven.

The home was ideal for the whole family. When Lake Michigan had red flag days, the heated pool kepted them busy. The "Movie Room" lacked a DVD remote, but we purchase one and had it up and running. The gas grill worked perfectly and we were able to enjoy many meals. Thanks for a great week.

Our week at Sandy Feet was enjoyable for the family. We loved the in-ground pool and firepit. Walking distance to the beach was great for daytime play and evening sunsets. The management company was very responsive to our needs and responded immediately to the wear and tear items that needed attention. A fun time for all.

The house was perfect for all my family. We had plenty of space to spread out and the theatre room was perfect for the bowl games! It will be a very special vacation rental to me since I got engaged there. I truly recommend this house and hope to come back soon!

The pool and location were just what we were lookong for. Easy bike ride to the beach or town. It was so nice being able to relax in the evenings and sit or grill by the pool while the kids swam. Movie room was nice to have when it rained.

The house was awesome for our whole group. From the 3 year old all the way to the 70 year old - everyone was comfortable and had fun. We particularly loved having have the pool and the theatre room. Tons of options with the bedrooms and layout of the house too - and the location was perfect. Thanks!

Great getaway near the lake
Very nice six bedroom home with room for large groups. Nice property in quiet area (we saw deer every day and wild turkey a couple times!) that makes a good home base for a gathering of one or even two families. Pool looks like it would be great in the summer!

Everything we could have hoped for!!
The house and property were amazing!! The house was spotless and included all of the amenities we needed. The theater room was an added bonus! It was too chilly to swim when we were there, but we took full advantage of the patio. Only a little over a mile from the shops and restaurants and a block from the water. I would definitely recommend!

Family Time with five teenagers!
This was our third summer coming to SOHA. This year we let our kids bring their friends and this house was the perfect fit for our motley crew! The teenage boys stayed in the basement, the teenage girls stayed upstairs while mom and dad occupied the main floor. The pool was amazing and we were a short walk to the beech.

Location and pool were great. Refrigerator water filter needed replacement and ice maker was not working properly. Also cable needed to be fixed by management. Could have been cleaner but it was well-stocked and had almost everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
