We loved the location on the river. Close proximity to stores and Chattanooga. Lots of space for the family.

Beautiful spot on the river. Lots of room in the house with a wonderful deck and yard overlooking the Tennessee River. Would definitely go back.

My family and I stayed for a short retreat in October. The location is perfect. The house is very spacious and welcoming. The kitchen was clean and well appointed. I would recommend a couple of more large salad bowls if I would be picky. The beds are comfortable enough for me, they were very clean. Loved the large dining room table where you can have dinner with entire family while looking out over the Tennessee river. I plan to visit again.

It’s a spacious property and an absolutely beautiful view on the river. Myself and my seven children ranging in age from 6 months to 12 years had a really great adventure together. The only con I could list is that we had a bit of an ant problem. We just kept our food in plastic bins and all was well.

It was great to be on the water but a few things we think the owners need to be aware of (and upcoming guests): 1. Bugs - cockroaches, ants, dead bugs in light fixtures, etc. need professional bug service not just sticky traps 2. Beds are hard and the upstairs queen has a broken base and you sleep crooked 3. Tripping!!! The hearth needs to be marked or changed because we had two people trip and fall. Also the upstairs large room —- the queen bed is directly under the bunks and YOU WILL HIT YOUR HEAD. Please change configuration. 4. Better stocked kitchen - need more pans, serving dishes We enjoyed the view and the water… great for a group of people - lots of seating. Bet it’s breathtaking all year round

The house was perfect for our family vacation. My brother & sister in law and kids drove up from Florida and we drove down from chicago to vacation together. The house was perfect. Kids loved jumping off the dock and swimming. Adults relaxed on the large beautiful deck! Only issue we had was the jet tub in the main bathroom didn’t work and the hot water ran out fairly quickly with two families trying to shower. But we would stay here again! We loved it!

The short review is we wouldn't stay here again. The long review... Very poorly marked property and one side of the driveway (there are two entry/exits) is unusable because it is too steep and you are trying to get out onto a 45 mph road almost blindly. Everything inside is old and worn out. The mattresses were rough. The queens in the main bedroom were so bad in some spots you sunk to the box springs. The master bath shower is rotting out under the bottom and it is spongy and feels like it is going to fall through. The "bunk" room with the lofted beds over the queen is Insanely HOT, with a super old and uncomfortable futon. The basement bunkbeds make some much noise with any little movement they wake you all night. No bathroom in the basement. One bathroom, the master on the main level. Two bathrooms on the top level. The kitchen was reasonably equipped but all the pots and pans the teflon is flaking off into the food. There were cockroaches runninf around - we saw them on the top floor. The exterior deck is wonderful and it was fantastic it had two tables, we ate out there a lot. Lots of table seating inside as well so great for a large group. The view and proximity to the river is awesome and the kids loved fishing. The location of the property was perfect. We contacted the property owners once to ask if there were extra garbage bags for the kitchen - tried calling and texting- and no response. Didn't bother to contact them after that for anything.

My husband and I hosted our family vacation here and everyone had a wonderful time. The house was right on the Tennessee river as advertised and it's a great place to relax and enjoy water activities. We rented the pontoon boat and kayaks. We brought our paddle boards but they have several there to rent as well. The house is very close to town to enjoy all that's there plus Lookout Mountain is a short drive away as well. It's very close to grocery stores and Walmart if you run out of anything. I wish we had more time because there was still more we didn't get to see and do. Guess that means we'll have to go back. Just a bit of info to pass along. It wasn't an issue for us but may be to others that stay here. The bedroom downstairs doesn't have a bathroom so they will need to go to the 2nd (main) floor to use that one. The bedrooms on the 3rd floor have 2 bathrooms available. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and new appliances. The back deck has a great view of the river and we ate several meals there.
