With heartfelt gratitude, Malinee Our oceanfront ground floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo is less than 75 steps from a gentle beach with views of gorgeous islands and palm trees. The beautiful view of the ocean is the most fabulous aspect of our condo and that you can walk right out at any time to enjoy the scenic views. You'll be able to see this gorgeous view of the ocean from the master bed. We love Maui, and take pride in offering this special oceanfront condo so that other visitors can fully enjoy the best of Maui's beauty too. Menehune Shores is a peaceful, oceanfront condo on the ground floor close to the calm sparkling bay of North Kihei. Your patio overlooks the seashore, grassy slopes and over the ocean, along with distant islands. You will often see spectacular wind surfing and fantastic, dramatic sunsets. Humpback whales can often be seen from the condo December through April. In addition to this exclusive serene ocean view, the unit contains ceiling fans in each room, a fully remodeled kitchen and a washer/dryer in the unit for convenience. This non-smoking condo is excellent for families or two couples. The unit is non-air conditioned, has new ceiling fans in each room and a nice cross ventilation of natural air. There is never a time when the sun shines harshly on the windows. This make our condo unique because the building is curved like a horseshoe and each unit has a very different exposure. Here is review from one of our Menehune Shores guests: ''It's a beautiful location with a million dollar view of the ocean and beach. You have provided everything that your guests could possibly need. The ground floor location worked out fine for the wheelchair. We have come home with great tans and feeling very relaxed and renewed. I hope we can stay again in the future...'' Our condo is steps from the beach. There are no roads or buildings in the way of the gorgeous ocean view. The beach is usually calm like the bay, the water is shallow; there's great views, beautiful sunsets, and perfect for walks. You won't see a lot of people on this secluded beach. We want to take a moment to address the August 2023 Maui fires that have affected Lahaina in west Maui. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow for the families who have lost their loved ones, homes, businesses, and livelihoods. We are grateful to share that our condo located in South Kihei, have been untouched by the fires. Our condo is in north Kihei, which is over 6 miles on the coast and was untouched by the fires. You'll be able to fully enjoy the tranquil beaches and so much more of Maui. All restaurants and shops are open to serve you. We felt this location was perfect to get all over the island, and we did. The patio was amazing to sit and drink coffee each morning and listen to the ocean and birds.

Our stay in Kihei was fabulous thanks to our great location at Menehune Shores. We were provided plenty cooking utensils for our stay. Floor unit made access easy to the unit, to the beach, and to the car. We would definitely recommend this property to all family and friends.

What a beautiful view and fantastic location. The condo was very accommodating for our family of four. Having access to the beach chairs and boogie boards was a huge convenience. Kitchen was well stocked and overall very clean.

We had an incredible time staying in Menehune 121. With two toddlers, the ground floor unit was perfect. We could open up the sliding door and the kids could play on the grass. The shallow protected swim area was awesome for them - they could play in the water without fear of being swept up by big waves. We saw 5-12 turtles out on the beach and the rocks EVERY DAY! HIGHLY recommend.

We had a great time. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, literally just steps to the beach, and in good proximity to other areas on the island. The view was amazing. We loved our stay. Mahalo for a wonderful family vacation!!

Location is wonderful for beach walking and the grounds are beautiful. Condo is well equipped and comfortable. Turtles in the pond and whales could be seen from the patio.

Owners and rental company were amazing to deal with! Had some minor issues with the condo which where responded to immediately. Unfortunately the ocean was not swimmable out front of Menehune, it was brown the entire stay, due to the recent rains:( north condo neighbour’s were miserable to us and our group as they do not like kids and let us know numerous times:( condo was extremely well stalked!!

We have sated at this Condo many times and the location is great for a family with young kids. Also the property management team was VERY responsive. Nothing but great things to say about their management of the property.

We had a lovely stay. The only downside was the office closing at 2. I forgot my case for my binoculars up on the roof. The office was closed by the time I realized it and it was not open on the weekend to check lost and found. Everything else was great.

This property is amazing, the view , being able to walk out onto the grass and steps away from the beach is an experience that can't be beat. The condo fit five of us perfectly and having beach towels/chairs/coolers/umbrella/beach bags was an added bonus. We weren't missing anything and would recommend this condo to everyone looking for a great place to stay in Maui. No complaints, excellent holiday. Thank you.

Wonderful Christmas stay at this property. I did have an issue getting replies to my emails so I’d recommend calling with any questions (once I called, it was fantastic service) :) the views and beach access cannot be beat. The lanai was perfection! Comfy beds and lots of beach stuff provided. Perfect for little kids with the fish pond and grassy area right outside. I would return :)

Had a great time using the Menehune beach with kids. There were sea turtles mating at the beach. The pool is a great option for our younger kids too. The unit is on the first floor and being able to walk out with coffee in the morning to see the ocean was delightful.

Great property at ground level, easy walk out to beach and condo amenities. Close to shopping, great snorkelling and great restaurants. Our only small disappointment was the lack of cooking spices which are nice to have when you only use such a small quantity. Overall, we had a blast and really enjoyed this unit… especially breakfast and dinners on the lanai watching the sunrise and the sunsets!

This condo is only a few steps from a very lovely beach that we enjoyed swimming in everyday. The unit is completely furnished with everything you need to have a great time. Unfortunately we did not discover the rooftop deck until the last night. If we had of gone up there sooner, we would have watched all of the gorgeous sunsets from up there with a great libation.
Also on our last night, there was a power outage, and there was a lantern in the closet to help us see.
Hope, the property manager is wonderful to work with and was very helpful. She always made sure we knew she was available for us if we had any problems.
We are hoping to be able to stay in this condo again in the future.

The host and property owners where amazing to work with. We loved the 1st floor unit because of the access to the beach out the back door as compared to being on an upper floor. The unit is well kept and well stocked.

We loved our visit here. The property was clean, wonderfully located and right off the beach with amazing views of the ocean. The hosts were fabulous to work with and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was extra special. We’d stay here again.

This condo is pretty old and beat up. We were quite surprised as the photos in the listing made it look beautiful. The floors were dirty, found a baby cockroach in a kitchen drawer, beds uncomfortable. There is a lack of basic kitchen essentials. The view and grounds however are beautiful. We wouldn’t stay here again, over priced for the condition of the condo.

We loved our stay at Michael and Barbs condo at Menehune Shores!! The unit was so comfortable and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the beach!! The property management team was outstanding!! Can’t wait to go again!!

Amazing location!!!
The location of this property is what brought us back! We got married in Maui 5 years ago and rented a unit in the Menehune shores. So when we wanted to bring our kids to the island this condominium was our first search! Having the bottom floor was ideal with our kids and such a nice walk to the pool and the beach!
However, the cleanliness of this condo was not superb. Our feet were black everyday and with a crawling baby, it was pretty gross to say the least. We ended up mopping the unit ourself to try and clean it a bit so our children weren’t so filthy everyday. If the Unit was cleaner I would say 5 stars.
Barbra and micheal were amazing though and the manager Hope was super helpful when we needed help returning some rented baby gear before we left!!
Overall I would recommend this place if they just spruced up the cleaning!
