Our incredible condo/vacation home is located on the 2nd floor right in the heart of the resort. You will love all of the new modern furnishings and feel the comfort and luxury a soon as you enter the property. High end furnishings including patio furniture, flooring, appliances and window treatments truly make our condo one of the best on the grand strand. The condo building known as 'Island Vista' was built in 2006 with all first class amenities and is tastefully decorated in a 'British West Indies' flare. Known as 'Island Vista', our condo has a true resort feel and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood known as the 'GOLDEN MILE'. Located on over 500 feet of sandy beach, Island Vista is situated on one of the least crowded areas in Myrtle Beach. You will be near the action and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. As soon as we walked on the property of Island Vista, we knew this was the place we would call home. Our condo is very spacious (50% larger than the typical Myrtle Beach Suite) and has all the upscale interior appointments such as granite counter tops, tray ceilings, tile flooring & a Jacuzzi tub you should expect. Our home is DIRECT oceanfront and offers spectacular ocean views from the living room and kitchen area as well as the master bedroom. It also includes a large living room and a dining room for family dinners and each bedroom is equipped with a 32" OR larger LCD flat panel TV and a private bath. The large master bath also offers granite counter tops, double vanities and a large Jacuzzi tub. And don’t forget we have a “FULL SIZED” washer and dryer in our condo for your convenience. We have all the amenities at our resort and the area is just perfect for your family. And since the weather is wonderful all year long, whether you’re here for a family vacation, a winter retreat, a romantic getaway, a men's golf retreat or even a girl’s weekend getaway, “Anytime is a Good Time” to visit Myrtle Beach. But even if you want to just hang out, 'Island Vista's' onsite restaurant, Tiki hut bar and grill, wonderful pool complex, hot tubs, tanning lawn and the list goes on and on, make it the perfect getaway!! Even though our kitchen is wonderful and totally stocked with everything you need, you might want to visit the full service upscale restaurant in our resort, 'The Cypress Room” which has one of the best breakfasts on the Strand. It is open for breakfast and dinner daily, so enjoy the oceanfront dining at its best. This restaurant opened in the original Sea Island 30 years ago and has created a following of locals. It is recognized as one of the best on the Grand Strand. When you find yourself lying in the sun around one of the 3 pools, you can also enjoy the “Tiki Hut Bar and Grill”, a favorite of ours featuring frozen drinks, cocktails and casual food at reasonable prices. Traveled to this beautiful condo for my grandkid’s Fall Break; six of us: my son and his wife, our two grandkids (14 & 12), and the wife and me. The condo is a wonderful size for this group; we never felt cramped, and the space served us extremely well. Reports were that all the beds were very comfy. I have absolutely no complaints regarding anything tied to the unit.
Island Vista as a facility though didn’t quite meet the promise, which may have been tied to our end-of-season timing. But, given it was Fall Break time I was hoping for more. The Tiki Bar touted in Gary’s statement and Island Vista’s web page was never open. The indoor pools were still in summer mode and too cold for even the kids to consider taking a trip on the lazy river (a disappointment for them). Only one of the two outdoor pools was a temperature that could be withstood – and the family did enjoy that. The beach though is great, and our time spent there was wonderful.
Gary’s place is superb! If you aren’t there early or lates season I predict you will have a great experience

We arrived a bit early a little after 3 when check in is typically 4 I messaged Gary to see if we could possibly get in earlier he responded quickly (like he had done the entire process) saying it was clean and all ready for us, went directly there parked on level 2 and condo was right there easy code access..went in it smelled and looked amazing! Yall this place had everything we needed from the closet full of toys, to the large balcony, to the comfy beds( I need this topper) the large couch and seating in general in every area was perfect for us! I told Gary before we even left that we were already planning to come back next year. We were able to hang at the beach/pool area during the day(plenty of towels for that in the room already)and tiki bar was an added bonus then back up to the room to enjoy the hot shower or jacuzzi tub(plenty of bath towels,hand towels and wash cloths) we would head out then once back to the condo we would enjoy the restaurant/bar just downstairs or sit up in the room and enjoy board games or cards or back out on the balcony with a glass of wine! If you are considering this condo stop thinking and book it...we are coming back to this most perfect condo and the location is unbeatable close to everything but beach isnt crowded at all! Thank you Gary for making this our best trip to date. Cant wait to return!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the property. It is more beautiful in person...and the pics are amazing. Everything you need for cooking, cleaning, linens, etc. are there. The unit was extremely comfortable and decorated perfectly with amazing views. I really cannot say enough good things. I am making my reservation for next year.

We had the most amazing week at Island Vista! Check-in could not have been simpler. And the condo, OMG, it is beautiful and was absolutely perfect for our expectations. Everything was clean and neat, the room set up worked just great for us, our son & daughter-in-law and our 7 year old grandson. The pool and the beach were awesome. Gary was so easy to work with. We had a week of great food, great weather and great family time🏖️

This condo was fabulous. It's proximity to the beach was wonderful. With mobility issues, my sister felt included even when she was unable to be on the beach. The property has great outdoor spaces with a very friendly staff. The condo is conveniently located that made loading and unloading a breeze. Gary is a very responsive host who seems to love for his guest to have the ultimate experience.

This was our 2nd year staying in Gary’s condo. The entire process was perfect. The condo has everything you need plus extras. It’s clean & well maintained. We stay at Island Vista 5-6 times a year, it’s one of the most beautiful places in the area. We will be return guests for many years to come.

My daughters and I had the best vacation here and we can’t wait to come back next year! It is the perfect location and close to everything. The owners were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time. I had a few questions while I was there and agog right back to us each and every time! Can’t recommend this place enough and looking forward to seeing the condo next year with all the upgrades they are doing.

Gary was a great host. We have stayed at Island Vista before but they didn’t have the size suite we needed. Gary’s condo was perfect, clean and extremely spacious. We had a wonderful stay, the property owners were very very nice, loved the huge condo.
The property was huge over 1700 sq.ft. Three bed three bath we had our kids and granddaughters with us, the kids pools were great a lazy river and a wading pool for the granddaughters several hot tubs the facility was very well keep. We just can’t say enough nice things about the owners wonderful to work with . We loved our stay and will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Condo was very nice, clean, great location. Easy check in and check out process. Restaurant food was great and not overly priced. Kids program was awesome. Staff at the resort was very friendly. The owner was very prompt in responding to emails. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic 4th of July Getaway
This unit was perfect for our family vacation. It was spacious, clean, prime location and had all the amenities of home. The owner reached out with vital information and was very accommodating to ensure our arrival was seamless. We had fanatic views of the beach and the pools at the Island Vista were awesome. We highly recommend and look forward to staying again!

Another great stay
This was the 2nd year in a row we stayed at this condo. My kids love it because of the indoor/outdoor pools and the lazy river. The beach is great and the water is warm and there are a lot of things to do and good places to eat within a 5 mile radius. I highly recommend this property.

Overall experience was fantastic. Location is amazing. There are only private homes on either side of the resort so the beach is much more private than the beaches lines with other hotels and resorts. But you are still within 10 min drive to most entertainment and eating spots. Condo was nice and well stocked. Resort had wonderful amenities with well maintained grounds, pools indoor and out. Excellent for anyone with small children as we did. Had excellent communication with the host and Gary was very quick to respond and address any questions you may have. 5 ⭐️’s! Highly recommend!

There are only private homes on either side of the resort so the beach is much more private than the beaches lines with other hotels and resorts. This room was on the second floor and although some of the ocean view from the balcony was obstructed by palm trees, it was still amazing. The balcony was fairly large and could easily accommodate 6-8 people.
There was a coffee maker but there wasn’t a Keurig so if this is important to you then you may want to bring your own. Also, there’s plenty of towels but not as many washcloths so you may want to bring extra. The washer & dryer in the room made it easy to wash as needed.
The room is near the elevator so whomever sleeps in the front bedroom nearest the hall may need to bring earplugs or some type of noise maker to block the noise of the elevator ding and folks getting on/off the elevator.
The owner provided plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys. He was very responsive and accommodating with any issues we had. We would definitely recommend this room to others and hope to stay here again sometime.

We spend our Thanksgiving at the beach every year. We waited too late to book with Island Vista directly this time, I found this property & I’m glad I did. The communication was great from beginning to end, the condo was clean & accommodating. We had a great experience & will be renting from Gary again.

The condo was in a very nice location, close to everything we wanted to do. The resort amenities were great-oceanfront, pools, lazy river, fire pits at night-we enjoyed all of it. Beds were comfortable. The only down side is that the condo could have been better stocked with paper products-toilet paper, paper towels & tissues along with hand soap. There was just minimal supplies of this & we had to purchase some at the local store to last through our visit. We would recommend this condo and enjoyed our stay.
