About this house rental
Nestled in Woorim, this charming house for $115 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. - Beachfront, pet friendly house - Huge fenced yard and shed for parking of cars, caravans and boats - Three bedrooms/ One bathroom/ Sleeps six - Five minute walk to town - Large covered outdoor area - Dogs welcome (at an additional cost) Bring the kids and the dog as they will all be entertained while staying at The Beachside Bungalow. The property is located directly across the road from the stunning Woorim beach which will bless you with kilometres of white sand, crystal clear waters and if you're lucky a visit from the local dolphin pods. The section of beach directly across from the house is also sought after as it is dog friendly (off leash) or you can take a small walk up the foreshore to main beach and the patrolled area. As well as having the beach directly across the road the property offers its guests a short walk to the centre of town where you can find a selection of cafes, clubs, restaurants, takeaways and shops. There are also walking and biking paths, parks, and picnic spots all within walking distant from the property. You are only a five minute drive from the rest of Bribie Island highlights such as Pumicestone passage, the cinema, shopping centre and the famous Sandstone Point Hotel. The property itself is a comfortable ground level home and fits the needs of anyone that wants to avoid steps. The kitchen living and dining area are open plan and offer comfortable seating, a flat screen TV, table and chair setting and the kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. There is a covered outdoor area that runs along the front of the property where you can put your feet up and listen to the waves meet the shore or you can host a family BBQ in the back outdoor area. The back outdoor area offers a table and chair setting and a BBQ. It flows on to the fully fenced back yard perfect for the kids and dog to run around safely when they are not enjoying the beach or other Bribie highlights. In the back yard you will also find a large two car shed that you can get to via side access on the property. It's the perfect place to park up your boats, cars, trailers, campers etc. you can also park your car on the driveway as well. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom in the property. All three bedrooms have ceiling fans and built in robes. Bedroom one has a queen bed and a flat screen TV, bedroom two has two singles beds and bedroom three has a single bed with a single trundle bed. There is an internal laundry with a washing machine as well. Overall The Beachside Bungalow will offer its guests a comfortable and convenient place to enjoy Bribie Island. Linen is included in with your booking. Linen is left on the bottom of each bed for guests upon arrival. This will include all linen other than pool/beach towels. Please note linen for the trundle is not included but can be hired at an extra cost. * Please note bookings made prior to July 1st, 2023, have a different linen set up and you will need to refer to your booking confirmation for linen information. Accommodates up to 6 people: 1 x Queen bed, 3 x Single bed and 1 x Single trundle bed An additional $50 Pet fee per dog applies when you bring a dog. Couch not very comfortable at all the 2 single slate beds kept falling apart and my daughter 32 went through it as they move . But overall an enjoyable stay .

The property was in a state of needing repair.
Doors that were so stuck they had to be forced open. Windows and mesh filthy. Fans covered in thick dust. Back patio filthy so was table. Lounge suite so bad sat of floor. Stove a danger as the top got so hot couldnt put hand on it. No grass out back only sand and a few weeds. Nothing like in the advert.
The whole property needs a complete remake. It should not even be advertised until this happens.
People are paying good money to stay in a poorly kept house.

It would have been a very nice little beach shack, but the uncleanlinesses did take away from the experience. We are definitely not fussy but there was dust all over the walls, fans and windows. Lots of dishes were not cleaned well. Upon arrival neither the microwave or internet worked. They were very responsive to these issues and bought a brand new microwave over; however, the internet was not fixed for our entire week stay. The house is right across from one of the best beaches on the island and we did love the beachy feel to the place.
(I must also note it was the most uncomfortable bed and couch I have ever been on and we travel budget friendly a lot)

Location could not be better, very quiet, lovely to hear the sound of the sea and birdsong. Directly across the road from the entrance to the dog off-leash beach, and a well-fenced dog friendly yard. Short easy walk to the Golf Club and strolling distance to the pub, Surf Club, restaurants and shops. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking with exceptionally clean cutlery and crockery, I think all new. Comfortable beds, though the sofa was definitely not. We particularly enjoyed the bbq area at the back of the house, big table, comfy chairs. The lack of air con could be a problem in mid summer, as the ceiling fans are not efficient and the one in the main bedroom is very noisy. We enjoyed our stay - so did the dogs - and would happily go back.

I found the property very dirty, disgustingly dirty. All windows and screen full of dust, mould and dirt. Fans dirty and throwing dust on the walls, had to clean myself. Looking at the walls this has been happening for a while. Exhaust fans in shower and toilet unusable as they are clogged with dust. Shower frame disgusting, looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long while. Bathroom drain very smelly and had to be covered at all times. Microwave and exhaust fan filters should have been replaced a long time ago, in my option. Wardrobe inserts old and broken, why are they still there ??Outdoor setting just filthy, no way were we going to sit on that. Carpets look like they need a good clean. Overall just filthy. I would never recommend this house to anyone in its present state. So so disappointed as we hadn't had a holiday for a long while. The only good thing I could say is the house location was very good. I am sure with a good bond clean, this house would be much more acceptable and maybe updating the photos and description on website it isn't a true reflection at this stage.

We were charged full price for the extra night, We left the place cleaner than when we got there. It was so dirty, the blinds. bedside tables etc, broken beds propped up with wood blocks, bedside lamps with no switches just flickered on and off, very bad for a good spot, Hopeless,, ,,, cleaners. Booking fee rip off, get back down to earth Bribie Island, we are seasoned travellers and only came for a family birthday, never again, no community spirit

Lovely property, and lovely location, suited me an my dog perfectly. Fully secure back yard for the dog and walking distance to the dog beach, so quite and peaceful. Property had everything I needed.

The house is family friendly and felt so homely as soon as we entered. It is right across from the beach and listening to the waves at night was relaxing. It is our new yearly holiday destination now:)

This was an excellent location and just perfect for the dogs, right across the road from the dog beach and an easy walk to Woorim, with a huge fenced backyard. The only problem was that both sliding doors need a bit of maintenance...bit tricky to lock. If you want somewhere comfortable and convenient to everything, this house is great. I would go back.

This was an excellent location and just perfect for the dogs, right across the road from the dog beach and an easy walk to Woorim, with a huge fenced backyard. Disappointed
The beds all broke ... Very prompt response to reapir but repaired dodgy and the fridge also died although they properly relaxed it it was to big to fit in kitchen and made the table unable to access the lights were not all working properly and the toilet seat was dirty and broken the rail in the bathroom was broken and some of the utensils were still dirty :( the replacement fridge was smelly and had to be cleaned and we were not offered anything in return for our loss the back screen door did not close properly and the gates upon arrival were broken :(
