Located in Plymouth, this charming condo for $135 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Enjoy this 2-bedroom upper flat of a home built in 1924. Inside you’ll find the character of an older home with all the modern conveniences. Attention to detail was taken throughout this ultra-comfortable space. While the flat is small, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The flat is close to downtown Plymouth, Ann Arbor, Detroit and Detroit Metro Airport. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. The Space: The updated flat is 550 square feet. There are 2 cozy bedrooms (aka small) each with a queen-size bed. The comforters on the beds may be different than pictured. There is one bathroom with a standard tub and shower combination. A hairdryer is available for use. There is an all-in-one washer/dryer combination in the bathroom. The full kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Pots, pans, dishware, and utensils are available to enjoy a home-cooked meal. For those desiring lots of caffeine, brew yourself an entire pot. Or if you need a little pick-me-up, use the Keurig (singles provided for Keurig). You’ll also find a toaster and blender available for use. The kitchen is open to the living room with a breakfast bar in between. The living room has plenty of seating and a smart TV. Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime are provided. Network TV is provided through the use of an antenna. There is no cable TV. The flat does have central air conditioning and heat that you control with your thermostat. This is an older home, so the stairs up to the flat are steep and smaller consistent with the construction in that day. The flat does have its own entrance from the outside. A Little About the Neighborhood: Plymouth, Michigan is a quintessential American town. While it is a suburb of Detroit, you’ll find that it has its own personality and feels like a small town. At the heart of the downtown, you’ll discover a city park that is the hub of the city happenings. Surrounding the park, there are several restaurants, a movie theater (showing movies Thurs – Sun), ice cream shop and café. During the summer, Plymouth hosts Music in the Air on Friday nights and several festivals and fairs. On Saturday mornings, find fresh produce and food at the Farmer’s Market. Feel free to check out what is happening in the City at this website, www. The flat is on a busy two-way road and located 2 blocks from an active train crossing. You will hear train horns during your stay. At times, the train passes by 2 – 3 times per night. The flat is only a 10-minute walk from downtown Plymouth (2-min drive for those visiting in the dead of winter). It is located within a 25-minute drive to downtown Ann Arbor, 25-minute drive to downtown Detroit, and 20-minute drive to Detroit Metro Airport. There are two dedicated parking spots in the driveway in front of the home. Uber and Lyft are available in the area.

This upstairs apartment is cozy and comfortable. Yes, the stairs are steep but the train didn't disturb us. It's great that there's two parking spots. The host is very accommodating and helpful. You can walk to downtown Plymouth.

Perfect. The bedrooms are small as stated but we were very happy to have 2 bedrooms. Equipped with the newest appliances, furniture, wiring etc. We were there for a conference. I got to do some biking in great park just 5 blocks away.

This apartment is fabulous! Everything you might need is included! The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals including some spices. There's a stove with oven, dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator, and a regular size microwave. The two bedrooms have very comfortable beds and extra pillows and blankets. Even 2 pairs of disposable slippers are included! The bathroom is very clean and modern and includes a small washer/dryer combination. And there's plenty of hot water.
The living room has a comfortable sofa and 2 comfortable chairs. It includes wifi and a large screen TV with a variety of channels. It was also decorated for Christmas! In my opinion, there isn't anything that was missing in this apartment! And there were a lot of unexpected extras. This was a great place to stay, and my husband and I will definitely stay here again! With downtown Plymouth being a short 15-minute walk, there are also lots of things to do within a short distance. Christine was very helpful and a great host!

Property was clean and had everything we needed. Only down side was that the apartment smelled like cigarettes. The stairway to gain access was very steep with narrow stairs.

This property was stocked with every helpful thing you could ask for from herbs and spices to facial wipes! Really appreciated all those enhancing accommodations. The unit was clean, towels were nice, beds comfortable. It’s on Main St so a little traffic noise and it’s hard to get away from the train whistle in Plymouth center! Very nice. We would definitely rent again.

This was our first experience with VRBO and it all worked out great.
We were very impressed with our accommodations and the owner made sure that all of our needs were met. The description talks about a train but we were never disturbed by it. We will definitely try to stay there again when we travel back to the area.

Great home away from home
This is our second time coming back to Christine's home. We stayed here for a week when visiting family in Plymouth, Ann Arbor, and Northville. The place is very cozy and has a great layout. The location is also central to so many cities in different directions. Everything is very clean and Christine's is wonderful. We'll be coming back here year after year.

Clean. Convenient. Thoughtful, quiet.
The property is cozy, but is just enough room for a small family. It was clean, and everything was easy to find. The television is nice. The host was easy to get a hold of and checked in on us while we were there (over the app, not in person). We rented during the holidays and they asked us if they should put a tree up before we arrived which I wasn't expecting but was nice. There was a guide in the kitchen. The kitchen had new appliances. The bathroom is small but clean. There were amenities like shampoo, etc, in case you forgot something. They have Alexa installed for your entertainment and internet search needs. If you have a hard time getting up stairs I would keep this in mind. The stairs are steep. We enjoyed our stay and plan to utilize this rental again when visiting Plymouth if it is available.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, and cozy!
We stayed in this flat for 4 days during a visit to family near Plymouth. We never like to stay in hotels so were looking for somewhere we could cook and have a bit more normal living experience.
We had a bit of difficulty trying to get in to our flat due to going to the wrong door, but fortunately because the wonderful owners live downstairs they got us to the right entrance. Christine was warm, welcoming, and quick to respond from the time we reserved through check-out.
The flat is small but very nicely appointed with comfortable furnishings (especially the beds) and plenty of hot water. It is also very quiet which is a huge must for us when travelling. We hardly heard the owners downstairs and hope they hardly heard us when we were there.
I'd say the flat is perfect for two people. With two bedrooms, two couples or some combination of 3-4 family members/friends could sleep there but it would be tight due to room size and lack of storage. The bathroom is small but again, very nicely done.
The main reason I say it might be tight for more than two people is lack of dining space if you really want to cook and eat there. There are two stools in front of a small breakfast bar, and an IKEA collapsible table with chair inserts but really nowhere to put it and cook at the same time. This would probably not be an issue for people that want to just have light snacks/meals in the flat and mostly eat in restaurants.
The other thing to be aware of if you like to watch TV is that the owners have elected to have streaming options only (Netflix, etc.) so you won't get local news or regular channels. But the streaming is super fast and easy, the TV is huge, and there are plenty of options. I was sick for a day and stayed inside and had plenty of TV options between naps.
Overall I'd say this place is really great and will be our "go-to" accommodations whenever we return to visit family. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was dining space, and that's really a matter of personal preference.

Clean and comfy
We had a wonderful stay in this clean and comfy place while attending our nephew’s wedding at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth only 8 minutes away. The decor is adorable. The kitchen was bright and sunny, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the couch was one you could really snuggle into. We loved strolling around the quaint town of Plymouth to meet relatives for coffee at the coffee shop, pick up fresh food st the market, and sit in the park and people watch. We had a delightful, relaxing stay!

Amazing Place with Amazing Hosts
Christine's rental is a cozy 2 bedroom with all the amenities you could possibly want. Within a few moments of downtown Plymouth, there are restaurants and shops, while still being on a very quiet street. The rental has all the plates/pots/utensils you would need to put together a multi course meal for 4. The rental was perfect for my extended stay during my relocation to MI. Christine is very attentive to anything you might need. Truly an amazing owner and rental!

Dozens of very well thought out extras and percs ensuring we had everything we needed for a night or month long stay! Tenets were always available to answer questions or help with anything if needed.

Relax and Refresh with Modern Convenience
We wanted a home base and found much more while visiting family in the area. The flat is charming, clean, and convenient to many attractions. Downtown Plymouth is fantastic, less than a mile away, and full of great restaurants along with city sponsored activities (e.g. concerts, farmer’s market, etc.) After a long day of hiking and visiting breweries/wineries, it was great to relax on the most comfortable couch ever! Christine was wonderful to meet. She is responsive to questions and the flat has the items needed (e.g. coffee, toiletries, etc.) if you forget something. Although family is not always easy, hanging out in this home away from home was.
