Situated in Fontana Lake, this lovely cabin for $199 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. You won't find a better value in the Cherokee / Bryson City area! Add to that the perfectly central location, just 5 miles either to Cherokee or to Bryson City, and this is the perfect base camp for your Smoky Mountains Carolina Mountains vacation. note: the listing map marker has had some issues. This property is near Whittier and is about midway between Cherokee and Bryson City NC. Free Admissions to several area attractions are provided for every day of your stay! This is arranged by Watershed Cabins through their program called Xplorie! Every single day of your stay, including both the arrival day AND the departure day, you get 1 free admission to each of the attractions offerred. Biltmore Estate, Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, Wildwater Jeep Tours or whitewater rafting, brewery tours, and more... with new attractions being added all the time (all are subject to seasonality, availability, and program changes). You'll love the cozy feel of this very adorable mountain home. For that mountain get-away experience with the convenience of being close to all recreational areas, this is the place for you. The cabin has a bedroom and full bath on the main floor and an upstairs loft area with a 7' slate pool table, futon, and another full bath. King bed in master, full sized futon in loft area. There's as grill on the porch, too, and of course the propane and firewood are provided. The location is very convenient directly between Bryson City and Cherokee; it's just 12 minutes to either. **note that despite my best efforts, VRBO continues to show an incorrect map marker location! This property is NOT located near Almond NC just off highway 26. My wife and I decided to find a place to stay over the holidays with our two dogs. Cherokee Charm was the perfect size for us. We found trails to hike during the day and relax in the hot tub after. The sounds of the river flowing below the mountain, fire crackling, and wind blowing through the trees made it very peaceful. We miss it already. There are houses nearby and not a great view from the cabin but there are many places to explore during the day. We found a dog friendly restaurant/bar in Bryson City with great food and staff. We will recommend this stay and plan to save it for the future.

Overall, we enjoyed our weekend at Cherokee Charm. The cabin itself is beautiful, with a very nice kitchen and outdoor area. The location is close to both Cherokee and Bryson City. The bed was comfortable and overall the cabin was cleaned well and created a great place for us to enjoy our weekend. We noticed that this cabin lacked many amenities/fixes that would have made it more comfortable such as: no blankets for laying on the couch or sitting outside by the fireplace, the cookware was very old and in poor condition, the pillowcases had stains on them, the outdoor fireplace was cracked & is really creating a fire hazard, the hot tub water wasn’t very clean, the windows were very dirty, and we could hear mice running through the ceiling while we slept. Overall, the management company was excellent with sending periodic texts during our stay to communicate and check in/out was a breeze, and the cabin is very nice. It just needs some upgrades and touch ups to make it feel more like “home” for guests.

Overall it was a very nice cabin and we enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the driveway was very steep and I have a low car so we had to park at the bottom near sign and walk up the driveway

This property was perfect for a halfway point for our trip to south Carolina. Its secluded, clean and has all of the amenities you could need . The fireplace right next to the hot tub was the best place to be. It was very convenient to have firewood already on the property. The lack of bugs was amazing. Any bug that even tried to get close to us out on the deck would fall down dead instantly. We'll definitely be coming back!

We loved Cherokee Charm and will definitely book it again. It was a cozy, relaxing, and perfectly appointed cabin. Very picturesque looking from the living room outside to where the hot tub and outdoor fireplace are. The management company is very proactive (we had a winter freeze warning) about keeping guests informed. The property is well maintained and very well stocked. It was very clean and just perfect!

We were very pleased with the Cabin; it is hard to find somewhere to stay when you have a fur baby! This cabin was very nice, and we would stay there again. The hot tub had a small leak, but management made us aware before we arrived, and it did not affect us not being able to use it. We did miss our turn due to the direction given, the motel you are supposed to turn by has been torn down. It very quiet and peaceful and that is something we needed. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

The house was great! Although it looks very large in the pictures it was perfect for us (2). The hot tub was nice and the outdoor fireplace was amazing! We sat outside (late October) the entire time. Although it wasn’t a real problem for us a few items were “out” i.e. the ceiling fan in the bedroom didn’t work, the TV in the bedroom wasn’t connected to the satellite. We ran out of fire ‘starter’ and the torch/lighter was out of fuel. Luckily we had a lighter and we were able to start a fire without issue.
The kitchen was well stocked. However there could be more bowls and larger coffee cups. The coffee maker is that, a “coffee (brew) maker” not a Keurig. This wasn’t an issue either but we were also prepared. The grill worked well and grill utensils were available.
Overall, it was a great house for a relaxing weekend.

My husband and I are from south Mississippi and try to get a motorcycle trip in every year. We stay at different properties every time we go but I think we will come back here again! The place was amazing!! Location was perfect for the riding we wanted to do. Great tp come home every night to the outdoor fireplace & hot tub!! The beds and bedding was so nice. Slept so good!! The driveway was a bit steep for our bike but manageable. Thanks for a great trip.

The property was nice but the listing was a bit misleading. There was no view, the hot tub did not work, we’ll at least not properly and the ice maker was broken. The mattress is very old and broken down. Seems a little overpriced if I’m being honest.

Awesome location right off the main highway. Cabin was extremely quiet.
The porch was amazing. Wonderful place to wind down after a long day. You could hear highway noise from the porch but it was not horrible. We were close enough to drive to all of the area attractions, restaurants and a grocery store.
We had one issue. The refrigerator leaked overnight and maintenance was sent out quickly. The ice machine never really worked. It makes ice but sticks together.
It's a beautiful cabin, clean and tastfully decorated with a very user-friendly kitchen with the basic items needed to have nice dinners.
The grill was very clean and ready to fire up. The hottub was clean and a great feature as well as the outdoor fireplace. We enjoyed reading by a small fire in the evening. It was to warm to use the one indoor fireplace.
The bedroom is a tight space. The mattress probably should be replaced as well as the pillows. It was not really comfortable for myself or my husband. With that said, we were in the cabin five nights and it did not ruin the experience.
The road off the main highway up to the cabin as well as the driveway are steep. If you drive a low car you have to take it slow and easy or you will bottom out.
Cell service was very good at the house.

We love the cabin, great location, close to everything, close from Cherokee or Bryson City.
I have just few things to suggest, update the kitchenware...
Some were broken, rusty and old.
Also the fans need to be clean I couldn't turn them on, all the dust circulate around the house...
You guys are awesome, but you have a lot competition, but making a few changes make the difference.
It is not a negative review, I just want you let you know some things that can help...
I'm happy, We had enjoyed the cabin, and we are thinking coming back again....

The casino is very close and nice. The hot tub was great. The option for playing pool was great (a tight fit but still so much fun). Cherokee Charm is a very cute cabin. Upon arrival, we had an issue with the indoor gas fireplace not working; however, a Watershed Team member came over right away and was able to make adjustments and was able to get it working. The fireplace was easy to operate; however, the room would get too warm, so we were not able to use it too much.
Master bedroom was small but bed was comfortable.
Kitchen was stocked well; however, refrigerator ice maker never made ice. The rest of the appliances worked well.
I would recommend that they furnish some throws or blankets as there were not any in the cabin.
Upon returning to the cabin later in the evening we found that the downstairs toilet stopped flushing and since my husband wasn't able to navigate the stairs to 2nd bath upstairs, we had to leave earlier than expected.
Overall, if the cabin has these issues resolved, I would recommend Cherokee Charm.

There is not a lot of traffic nor noise. The road that runs Infront if the property is a great one to walk the pups on and goes back a good ways with other cabins to see along the way.
Will definitely return. Would love to see it during the summer and the winter months.

Luxury is an interesting descriptor for this property. The furniture is stiff and uncomfortable, the layout is not conducive for relaxation (you cannot open the dishwasher and put the dishes away at the same time; the television is mounted so high it hurts your neck to watch it). But most importantly, the customer service is rude and unhelpful. When we arrived there was no internet hot spot. While we did not expect great internet, we needed some to send email. When we called the customer service person, she refused to acknowledge that this was the company's responsibility or that they should do anything to amend it. We were informed that if we wanted a hotspot, we would have to travel to the company's office and retrieve the hotspot, but that it was first come, first served and we might not get one.
All this to say, don't rent this cabin or from this Watershed cabin groups. They just want your money. They don't care. This is not a family's vacation home that they have out up to rent.
