This house was perfect for us. Great views and sunsets, well maintained and spotless, three bedrooms with private bathrooms, nice well equipped kitchen, easy access to water for snorkeling, kayaking or swimming, and a very helpful and friendly caretaker. We will definitely be staying here again if we can.

This rental was amazing! We loved it. There were three adults and we loved the east access to the water. Well equipped with everything we needed for our vacation. Host went above and beyond to provide us I information and answer our questions before and during the stay. We really enjoyed our time here and thank sea turtle cottage for helping us have an amazing time on Eleuthera.

Sea Turtle Cottage is amazing!! Not only is the house great with lots of thoughtful touches (LOTS of towels, car bag, water equipment & toys, movies, books, puzzles, games, cooler, beach chairs), but the exterior amenities (tiki hut, kayaks, hammock, outdoor shower, hose, seating areas) made our trip wonderful! The view and the water are just spectacular!!

We travel a lot around the world and I will say this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The check in directions were easy, the only recommendation would be to ask for specific directions from the North Eleuthera airport. The place was spotless clean and stocked with everything needed for a comfy stay. The outdoor area was amazing, we enjoyed the floats and kayaks so much. Beds were cozy and there were extra blankets. The kids absolutely loved the loft with the twin beds. And you can’t beat the view. Absolute paradise!

The cottage layout is perfect for two couples. Privacy on either end with a comfortable, well furnished common area. Everything was very well stocked and very clean, with so much attention to fine details. We loved being able to walk to the steps leading right to the ocean. The outdoor areas were also very comfortable. Great communications with the hosts and property manager. You can't go wrong with this one!

This was our second stay at Sea Turtle Cottage, and it did not disappoint. It was very obvious the owner's go out of their way to think of everything needed to make their guests' stay as amazing as possible. The house had everything we needed and more from toiletries, paper essentials, spices, detergents, etc. The location is beyond beautiful, and the house is super cute. We loved snorkeling in front of the house and spending time at Rainbow Beach when it was wavy elsewhere. We were able to walk/hop/float over to the beach from the cottage, which was very convenient. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

We love Sea Turtle Cottage so much. We have been to the island several times but will choose this place over every other option. They have a great access to the ocean but the beach is a short walk or you could swim to it. The house is beautiful with comfortable beds, great kitchen, great supplies for cooking, They have great inventory for playing in the ocean, a wonderful back porch patio and tiki hut. It is conveniently located, we think, to access either end of the island. We love it here and hate to leave when it's over! The host is super responsive, the property manager is too. It feels like home but with way better views.

This is our favorite place to stay on the island because of the location (right on the water) and love that it has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Amenities were wonderful and we will definitely be back!

This was a well appointed house. It had all we needed inside and a great space outside. The couches and beds were comfortable and the outdoors were relaxing. It is conveniently located in the wonderful, deed restricted, Rainbow Bay (my favorite area to stay). Will definitely stay here again.

Location and facilities are impossible to beat. Very clean house, well appointed with everything one needs for a completely self catering holiday; separate sleeping areas, abundant towels for swimming, direct access to the water, and the list goes much longer. A rental car is advised to make it easier to get around the island, and the cottage is ideally situated between beaches, attractions and shopping.locations. Best lobster and fish from the local dock at James Cistern every day after 4pm. Thanks Ken and Sandi for making this available for a memorable vacation.

The setting is just beautiful. Access to the water is easy, either from the house or a very short walk or swim to the beach. The house is well maintained and clean. Views from everywhere. We would definitely recommend this wonderful spot!

This rental is superb in size, location, amenities, and cleanliness. It is very well stocked with utensils and other items for enjoying your stay. Steps way from the back porch is the cleanest ocean water you will ever see.

Property is even better than shown in pictures. Plenty of space for our group of 5 adults. Very clean and well kept. Beds were all comfortable, kitchen well equipped, comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture. Plenty of water floats & gear to choose from. We loved our stay at Sea Turtle Cottage, felt like home. The location is great for going to either end of the island. Hope to be back soon!

Awesome Property & location
Awesome views and outside spaces. Very clean, excellent floor plan for couples/families with mixed ages, and great central location for northern/central Eleuthera. We only stayed a few nights before moving to another location but we all wished we had stayed here the entire visit! I would return to this property!

My husband and I stayed at this property for 4 nights. We had a wonderful time. The air conditioner worked well, as well as the internet in the house. The home was clean and comfortable. The property that this rental sits on is amazing! We enjoyed kayaking, snorkeling in calm water and floating on the floats that were available. The bluffs along the shore make great snorkeling. Amazing Calm Ocean Access

Family vacation exceeded expectations
Our family of four had everything we could possibly need during our vacation at The Sea Turtle Cottage. Very clean, well care for vacation home. Everything has been considered for families making the cottage their home away from home. We appreciated the bbq, the stocked kitchen, the bottled water, extra sunscreen, soft sheets, beach decor, bag of towels to take to the beach, cooler to take lunch to the beach, on one of the most beautiful bays on the island, snorkel gear, floaties, kayaks, location in relation to exploring the whole island… I could go on and on :) You know you are on vacation when you stay here… there are no hassles. We rented a car from Laura, also hassle free. She came out to the house for paperwork and answered all of our initial questions about the island. She was available if we needed her, but we didn’t. Everything was perfect. Sandi was very easy to communicate with via VRBO and on the phone as well. Her “what to expect” and “renter’s information” was very helpful. She has a copy of the Beach book at the house that we used just about every day. We got conch salad in JC a few times and went over to Harbour Island for a day otherwise we had all meals packed for picnics on the beach and bbq at the house. North Eleuthera grocery was great for frozen chicken (big bag of legs for $6) otherwise we thought the little stores in GH had what we needed and the market in Rock Sound was our favorite but furthest from the house and we only went there once. Island Made Gift Shop in Gregory Town was my favorite and there were some cute shops on Harbour Island although my kid’s favorite souvenir was a Goombay Punch bottle that we filled with beach sand. In summary… Stay here. You won’t regret it. Oh, and anyone who bonefishes… my husband caught them right out the back of the house!

I can’t recommend the Sea Turtle Cottage enough! We took my mom and dad for my mom’s 75th birthday, and we had an AMAZING time. The location is unreal. The view out the backyard is spectacular. That gin-blue water is mesmerizing. The house has everything: three bedrooms, all with a bathroom. Great air conditioning, a well-stocked kitchen and a shed with TONS of ocean toys. I used a supplied mask and snorkel every day. Great quality.
The area is a short drive to Big Rock market, which has most everything you need for beer, groceries, etc. A little further down the road is the fisherman’s dock to get fresh fish (we got grouper - incredible). The property caretaker is Laura - very friendly and responsive to every need. We chartered a boat one day to go to different snorkeling sites. Highly recommended. We used Tyman Charters - ask for Ruben for your captain. Knows the local waters like the back of his hand.

Slice of Paradise
Sea Turtle Cottage was such a wonderful property. It offers a perfect slice of paradise on Rainbow Bay. The cottage has everything you could possibly need/want. Our birthday trip and first time away since covid!!!
This property was absolutely breathtaking.! I chose this home because of the views and the size. I love to cook and have 3 restaurants back home. This was a perfect space to relax and play. We fished with Tyman and then had food to cook for the rest of our stay. I was able to easily work with the WiFi even from the cabana by the water. We had friends on the island and were able to have them for dinner which was wonderful. I’d recommended these accommodations to everyone. The locals were so nice and helpful! Made lots of new friends. We can not wait to plan our next trip to this beautiful island!!!

Wonderful location
Our favourite thing was feeling like you didn't need to get in the car and go anywhere else. Everything you needed for a wonderfully fun and relaxing holiday was right in the backyard.
It was also isolated enough that we could also forget about the pandemic!The Covid health visa from the Bahamas government was processed much faster than stated on their website and the retesting after 5 days was very efficiently done at the Palmetto clinic. The locals were very friendly and we enjoyed fresh crayfish from the James Cistern dock on numerous occasions. Thank you to Laura for facilitating our great holiday.

I have never left a bad review and debated for a long time whether or not to rate this property; however, I cannot in good conscience leave others with no warning. The property is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice! The house was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. I got several pages of information in an email a day or so before we arrived. Buried in that email was a sentence that said, "keep the doors locked even if you are in the back yard". What that really meant was that a band of thieves watches the rental homes in the area, they watch for a couple days until they know exactly how many people are staying in the home and when everyone is in the back yard they enter and rob the home. I would have given this property a 5 star rating had the homeowners warned us about this problem, but they failed to do so. During my communication with the homeowners after the robbery I realized that they knew about the robberies in the area and did not bother to warn us to be careful. We were out back, the kids walked into the house to dry off from swimming but came running back out immediately saying someone had been in the home. I can't help but think what would have happened to the children if they had surprised the thieves. We contacted the police, they never responded to the home, we had to drive to the police station the next day to make a report. When we were at the American Embassy getting our passports replaced, they told us a lot of robberies had occurred in the Rainbow Bay area recently. A simple warning from the homeowners to be careful because there were multiple robberies in the area would have been nice.

Perfect Stay
From booking with the owners to the actual stay, everything went perfect. House was beautiful and perfectly situated to the water. The walkout steps to the crystal clear waters couldn’t have been better. We were treated with the best weather and sunsets one could imagine. Hope to be back soon.
