About this house rental
Situated in Selsey, this lovely house for $243 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Ocean Views owes its name to its panoramic sea views, spanning from Brighton to Selsey Lifeboat station and beyond. Fishing boats and larger ships can be watched while relaxing with a drink on the large roof terrace. The good sized garden, and well equipped games room, provides a secure and private space for children and pets to play. Rinse off from a day on the beach under the heated outside shower. A charcoal barbecue and garden furniture are provided for alfresco dining on the patio in the evening sun. Split over three levels, Ocean Views offers a comfortable base for a beach side holiday. On the ground floor is a bedroom with a king-size bed and separate shower room. There is a large kitchen and dining area with doors opening onto the garden and patio. Occupying the first floor is a large triple aspect sitting room with balcony and access to the roof terrace. A wood-burning stove provides additional warmth in the cooler months with logs available for guests, a large television with free view and a digital radio. The remaining three bedrooms; a double with king-size bed, a twin room and another with adult sized bunk-beds, are found on the second floor along with a family bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Bedrooms are fitted with blackout blinds to ensure a good night's sleep and all beds are made with Egyptian cotton bedlinen, a choice of pillows and feather duvets. There is a travel cot (but please provide own cot bedding), a high chair and plastic crockery and cutlery for our youngest guests. Stair-gates are installed at the top and bottom of both flights of stairs for you little ones' safety. The driveway provides parking for up to five cars. Boats or trailers can be stored securely within the garden with access through its double gates. Well behaved dogs are accepted with prior arrangement and are charged at £25/stay. Secure Wi-Fi is provided (passcode to be found within property). I am sorry but electric vehicles may NOT be charged at the property via extension lead as this invalidates our insurance. There are public electric charging points nearby at East Street car park. We do not accept stag or hen groups. Please note that the small front balcony is currently out of use and is due to be replaced. However there is still the large roof terrace so hopefully this will not spoil your stay.

Lovely stay, the house was very well eqipped and had a great views. Whole family enjoyed the football table. Shame our visit was short but would definitely like to stay here again.

My husband and I, along with our two friends and two dogs stayed in Kinty's house and had a fabulous time. Kinty was very quick to respond to any requests we had.
The house is very clean and tidy and it was very comfortable for us all. There was parking on the drive for both cars. The dogs had a safe and secure place to walk around in the back garden which was very handy.
The kitchen is modern and well looked after. It had everything you would need for a self catering holiday. Also there is a fish and chip kiosk within a minutes walk on the beach, we would recommend to try it out!
The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of sofa space to lounge around.
There is a decking just off the lounge which we were able to use most of our stay as the sun was on it most of the day.
We would recommend this house to friends and family, we will definitely stay again.

Our family of seven stayed for a week in September 2022 when we were going to the Goodwood Revival. All along the process the owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions.
The home is modern and updated exactly as described. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with a grill outside. Our family really enjoyed sitting outside at the table with a lovely courtyard. Internet worked well and there were delightful views of the water on the second and third floors.
Best part- comfy beds reported by everyone and plentiful hot water in the showers.
Across the street from the house is a lovely fish and chips and ice cream shop. It was fun to walk along the waterfront and visit with folks. There are pubs within walking distance and a lovely bakery and convenience store.
I highly recommend this property and would love to visit again.

This house is very well situated by the sea. Excellent standard of facilities, equipment and bedding etc. Lovely big lounge with comfortable furniture and balcony with sun loungers. Comfortable beds and one double bedroom on ground floor ideal for my disabled friend. Large well equipped kitchen with American fridge freezer, washing machine and dish washer and plenty of good quality crockery and cutlery. Room to park two cars on the drive and a good size garden with solid garden furniture and separate games room. Highly recommend.

This is such a great house for a seaside holiday. Light & airy with the lounge on the first floor and beautiful views of the sea on two sides.

We were 3 generations celebrating milestone birthdays. Excellent property with rooms as listed on website. Plenty of shops near by. A good base for travelling around. House was very convenient for grandchildren to swim in the sea. West Wittering beach was lovely - go early and pre book car park. It’s worth getting nearer to the beach.

This property was lovely, spacious, well maintained as well as being ideally located on the beach road right opposite a children's play park. Selsey High Street has everything you need for your stay, with some great places to eat in or take away. I would highly recommend

This property is ideally located if you have young children being opposite a play park through which there is direct access to the beach. There is also a very good kiosk here for food/drinks/ice-creams etc. We were a three-generational family and found this house worked well for us. We (the grandparents) had the ground floor bedroom with the 'youngsters' being on the second floor. The house is well-appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The ground-floor shower room could be modernised but on the whole we were very happy with our choice. There are wonderful views from the house and we enjoyed watching the sun rise from the large balcony off the lounge.

Ocean Views was exactly as described. It was clean and very comfortable. There were 7 of us. More than enough space for everyone. Garden safe for young children and dogs.
Lovely views of the sea from the property. Just walk across the road and you are at the beach. The beach has stones, but that doesn’t matter to young children. Also, our daughter and son-in law went paddle boarding one morning. Beach cafe across the road. Lots of grassy areas for dogs. Good local fish and chip shop. Good communication with Kinty.
Definitely worth a return visit.

Well equipped kitchen and nice bathrooms . 15 minute walk to the High street, but butcher, chip shop, small supermarket and green grocer 5 minute walk away. Some of the better restaurants a little bit further away from the house need booking prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. However The Seal on the High Street was lovely.
Take your own hairdryer, I hadn’t noticed it wasn’t mentioned on the itinerary.
