The bathroom was small.

The facilities were excellent and we enjoyed the garden area with lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The breakfast options were brilliant and the staff were so welcoming.

Nothing - it was brilliant

We had a wonderful stay at The Coast Yard Selsey. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Damon, one of the owners, who was incredibly friendly and made a huge fuss of our pooch. It’s clear he is a real dog lover, which immediately put us at ease. We were shown to our garden room and couldn't have been more thrilled by it. It was the perfect space for us and our dog. After a great night's sleep, we took our dog for a walk through the nearby dog-friendly park before returning for breakfast. Our furry friend was welcomed once again, as were we. Much to our surprise, we were shown to our table in the restaurant rather than the bar area, which is what we expected having a dog with us. It was such a refreshing change to not be segregated because we had a pet. Breakfast was a mix of continental and cooked to order. We had the pancakes with berries, and my an omelette—which was more of a frittata, again a welcome surprise. Everything was delicious. As we enjoyed our breakfast, other guests began to arrive, and Damon put everyone at ease with his manners. We learned about his passion as a conservationist, which was fascinating. After talking to a couple of the other guests who had joined for breakfast, alas, our time was done and we had to say goodbye. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended for both the hospitality and the dog-friendly atmosphere.
