We would love to host you at The Love Shack, our cozy cabin in the woods, located in Deep Creek Lake’s quaint Yellowstone Village. Let the amazing ambiance and decor of this 2 bedroom, 1 bath paradise lift your spirits while you enjoy all of the comforts of home, plus a year round hot tub and a beautiful stone fireplace! Our cabin of LOVE is waiting for your next romantic getaway, or small family gathering. As you walk up, the spacious covered front porch is equipped with a gas fire pit and plenty of space and seating. The main level will greet you with a great room, which is perfect for chatting over a glass of wine, or watching a movie on the flat screen TV while you relax on the oversized Restoration Hardware sofa. Firewood is provided, so you can create and enjoy the warmth and the crackling sounds of a cozy fire. The renovated kitchen with new appliances, cabinets, and quartz counters; has everything you will need to make a romantic dinner or family breakfast. A comfortable master bedroom appointed with a queen bed and a TV for late night viewings, and an elegant full bath are located on the main level. There is also a cozy second bedroom with a twin daybed and trundle for an extra reading area, or quaint space for the kiddos. Walk up the the ships ladder to the loft for an added bonus room with a bean bag chill room and an additional queen bed. This is another great spot for games, reading, or an additional sleeping space. This home is full of amenities for your convenience and to create all of the comforts of home. These amenities include: a newly renovated kitchen with all the modern appliances and a Keurig coffee maker; a laundry center with washer and dryer; air conditioning and ceiling fans for those steamy summer days; heat and a stone fireplace to keep it toasty in the winter; a six person hot tub; flat screen TVs with Netflix, Prime Video, and premium channels; a gas outdoor fire pit a new gas grill; and provided towels, linens, and bedding. This cabin is tucked away just off of popular Glendale Road and is walking distance to the lake and a very short drive to the State Park and Wisp. Paved roads snake around the log cabins and the wooded setting, making it the perfect place for quiet walks, morning jogs, biking, and just enjoying nature. We have been going up to Deep Creek Lake every January for the last five years. The Love Shack is the best cabin we have stayed in. The kitchen and bathroom look like they have been recently renovated. Very clean and updated. The fireplace and leather couch made the living room very comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after snow tubing in cold and windy weather. The loft area was great also. We had a great weekend.

What a great experience! My lady and I brought in the new year here and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. It started snowing on our way into town so we had the perfect excuse stay in and enjoy the space.
The cabin seems simple and quaint from the outside, but the inside is nicely renovated and well-kept, complete with modern appliances and sleek fixtures. Kudos to the hosts for keeping the space updated/maintained.
To bring in 2024 here was special and something that we'll never forget. We look forward to visiting this part of MD again in the near future.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous cozy cabin. Michelle was amazing and gave us so many recommendations! The hot tub and loft area were our daughter's favorite spots to hang out. The cabin is so close to town and Wisp. It was our home away from home, lots of laughter, smiles, and fun were had by all. Mother Nature treated us with beautiful snow making it a winter wonderland during our stay! We definitely will return for our next winter family trip.

We had an amazing winter getaway before Christmas with our family of 4 at the Love Shack. We loved the layout of the cabin, the hot tub was a big hit & our kids adored the loft area! We had a fire going almost the whole time, and cooked all our meals in the cabin. Everything was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Love Shack is a quaint little cabin within minutes of all things to enjoy at Deep Creek! My hubs and I had the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend stay. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and cozy! And the owner - fabulous! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was so charming nestled amongst the trees of Deep Creek Lake. Convenient to restaurants and stores as well as the Deep Creek Discovery Center which offered great views of the lake and walking trails. Dinner was delicious at the upscale Dutch’s just a block over from the cabin. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. The outside hot tub added a nice relaxing touch. Highly recommend the “Love Shack”!!!

The cabin was everything we expected and then some! It was perfect for the two of us, very cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and great for spotting wildlife! Also, food and essentials were close.

The Love Shack was perfect for us. The enclosed hot tub was large enough and the gas fire pit on the front porch allowed us to spend many hours outside on the cool autumn nights. The kitchen was well equipped and the cabin is tastefully decorated. Loved exploring the Deep Creek area from here!

This was the second time we stayed at The Love Shack and enjoyed our stay as much this time as last. It is an adorable cabin with an outside hot tub and all the amenities of home in the quiet Yellowstone Village. It is close to restaurants, shopping, Deep Creek lake and a lot of fun activities. Booking with Vrbo was easy and working with the property owner Michelle has always been a pleasant experience. We would not hesitate to book again in the future.

This was a great property, perfect size for a small family and a couple friends. Great location close proximity to everything Deep Creeek has to offer. Cute loft, but very steep steps. Keep in mind for a small child. The property has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay! Couch is a bit worn, but fine to crash on together. Nicely updated kitchen. Cozy/ tight layout, but was just fine for our group. Enjoy!

Such a beautiful little cabin. Super clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, amazing place perfect for family of 4. The cabin is located within a 15 mins to each state park, Wisp, and all the boat rental places. A cross the street from the cabin there is lake and wonderful Dutch,s restaurant. You cannot ask for a better place to relqx and enjoy family time. We had a blast!! Highly Recommended !! Wonderful place !!:

The love shack was such an amazing cabin for my girls trip! The whole house was so clean and smelled so good it just made you feel instantly comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with very nice dishes and utensils as well as cookware. The whole house was decorated so cute (we even took pictures for inspiration for our own houses). The hot tub was perfect and the gas fire pit on the front porch was perfect to sit out there and watch the rain. Will definitely be booking again!

The Love Shack was perfect for a weekend getaway. Nestled away on a quiet road, we loved the cozy, but up-to-date cabin with a perfect front porch to drink coffee or snuggle by the fire pit.
The host Michelle gave us plenty of suggestions to the best town eateries and bars. We loved the Honi Honi bar (which was very close by) and their live music and fun crowd.
A 5* spot perfect for couples or a fun friend getaway. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Overall our stay was great... there was plenty of space for our family of 4, appliances were updated, check in and out was easy and location was great. The cabin was decorated nicely and we enjoyed the porch and the hot tub.
The one issue... pet hair. I knew the cabin was pet friendly, so maybe it should have been expected, but also could tell how important cleanliness was to the owner. Because of this, I was surprised that all the blankets, pillows and bedding left pet hair on our clothes. It wasnt a huge issue AT ALL but the cleanliness just didn’t quite meet my expectations and I wanted to reflect this in my review for future renters.
That said, we would come again and enjoyed our time in Deep Creek! :-)
