Modern, clean, comfortable, and very quiet hotel. Everything is new and works great! Breakfast is outstanding. Staff is very nice and helpful. The street is very silent, and rooms facing it protected from potential traffic noise anyway with massive concrete balconies. You’ll have a relaxing good night sleep right in the middle of a big city! Location is great. It is about 5 min walk to the train/metro station to get from/to the MXP airport and anywhere in the city. Also, you can take a walk about 40 min to the major downtown attractions, or take a tram. A convenience store is next to the hotel. Dining options in Italian restaurants close by vary from a 10 euros pizza to upscale dining.
I didn’t like the smell of a generic hand soap and shampoo but it was not important.

The staff was extremely helpful, both before and during the stay, accommodating our needs and answering questions. We especially would like to thank Noel, who made us and our little princess feel very welcome :) He was extremely helpful and kind; we felt very well cared for. The breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty to choose from. The room was small, but had everything we needed. In my opinion, the location is also a plus; it's not in the busiest area, but the transport is very convenient. Some tourist attractions are in the area, and you can get there on foot, but you can also commute and quickly reach any place in Milan. There are also nice restaurants and stores in the area. The stay was overall great; we definitely recommend Hotel Losanna.
The only thing is that even though our room had windows facing the courtyard, not the street, it was a bit noisy at night - there was some sort of generator making noise 24/7.
Also, there was air conditioning in the room, which is a big plus, but either it wasn’t working very well, or we just didn’t know how to set it up properly, because it did get a bit hot anyway, even with the air conditioning on. But those are small cons :)

Breakfast was very good. The room was very clean. Staff was pleasant and responsive. Location was great.
The mattresses were a bit thin. None of us slept as well as we usually do. Getting the water so that it wasn't cold or super hot was a challenge. Refrigerator in room didn't work (but to be fair, we never reported it).
