Great location and property in the heart of Chiang Mai

Great location in the heart of Chiang Mai. Hotel is at the start of Sunday Walking Street and close to restaurants, temples, spas, etc. It’s down a side street so close to everything but quieter than if you were on the Main Street. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and had lots of common areas which was great for my family which were split among 2 rooms.

The beds were hard and 1 member of my party found the bed extremely uncomfortable.

great location, walking distance to everything. very quiet, back lane location. the hotel was also very quiet and peaceful. huge balcony with lounge made it a pleasure to sit outside.

Would recommend but make sure your room has a good aircon and stay in the upper floor if possible.

Lovely place and the pool was very relaxing, location close to everything and breakfast was very filling.

the aircon was not cooling very well and the rooms felt hot, also a bit noisy early in the mornings if you’re in the first floor even when I had earbuds.

I would recommend this as a good location and a good place to stay in Chiang Mai

A very pleasant place to stay and a good pool (although I didn't use it). The staff were helpful. A quaint but unique establishment.

The only slight grumble was that there was quite a lot of noise from other rooms, but that was maybe just the room I had as it was at the end of the property and adjacent to another establishment.

Very pleased and will definitely be back

Great value, great location, very friendly and welcoming staff. The room had a very comfortable with Aircon and a big en-suite with plenty of hot water and powerful shower. The mini bar was well stocked and tea and snacks were also there in case you wanted them.

There was a degree of noise from outside as you’re right in the centre of town but this was minor compared to the convenience and the room had everything you could need. Wi-Fi strength could be improved though.

Great location, perfect room for a few days.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, not far from the moat, or city wall in Chiang Mai. Everything we wanted to do was walkable, including the famed night market, just a few blocks away.

We arrived earlier than check in, and the hotel didn't have a changing room or a place to shower. We were able to relax by the pool though!

Disappointing

Ok pool, decent though small room, staff is nice.

I stayed for a week. I needed internet for work but the wifi did not work. At times there was a connection but it was totally unusable. I asked and they said that they called the company every day. You are running a hotel!! If your internet is not working spend a few hundred baht on a second connection. They also wouldnt let me check out 1 hour late.

Warm and friendly homey stay

nice location, clean rooms and clean beautiful temperature pool. quiet and cold aircon, good room service everyday. Cute balcony and wifi in room.

Great size bed but a tiny bit stiff. Thin walls, and the bathroom “vent” facing to the foyer so can hear everything.

Just a nice place in a great location. It is a great place to get your bearings around Chiang Mai

Need more outlets. There were none in the bathroom so I could not use my water pick 😆

great location, quiet and comfortable. clean swimming pool in a beautiful garden for a cool dip on a hot muggy day, an oasis in a cramp and noisy city.

Charming boutique hotel in a convenient location in Old City with lovely staff

The staff was so nice, and the room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel is located very near Tha Pae Gate and the main road for easy access to shops, restaurants, and Sunday night market. We loved to hear the sound of the multiple waterfalls by the pool.

The pool was a bit too cold for us to swim (we were there in January), but it was beautiful to look at. Guests who are used to cold(er) water were swimming.

Relaxing, beautiful accommodations in a great location.

This hotel was such a relaxing treat on our travels. Very cute and in a perfect location near Tha Phae gate. The entrance to the hotel was off the Main Street making it a very quiet stay but close to all the action. We were able to explore within and around city square for the 3 days were there all on foot saving a bit of money on cabs & tuk tuks. Highly recommend!

Very good

The location of Vieng Mantra is absolutely great, just inside the walls off the old town in Chiang Mai. We walked to all of the sights in the old town, plenty of great restaurants and bars within walking distance too and because it sits on a small narrow street just off the main street, it is really nice and quiet which makes from great quality sleeps. The room itself was perfect with a comfortable bed, large bathroom with a good hot shower and everything was very clean. We didn't use the pool whilst we were there but that looked great too.

I guess the only thing that would've made this a 9 or a 10 would've been better breakfast options. Currently only toast with butter and jam and some bananas were on offer. Not sure if this is still post pandemic issues or something. Still great they did offer something at least but it made us have to go out for some more breakfast each morning.

Comfortable room, lovely warm shower, great location, friendly staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location, easy access to the old town. The room, although on the 'older' side, appeared well maintained and clean. I found the hotel to be exceptional value for money.
