Very quiet whilst in the center of the old town close to everything. Rooms are amazing intertwined in trees and very large. Aunya has been a great host organising everything for us - restaurants, massages, hot steam bath, visits, pick up’s and drop offs thanks again for a 5-star VIP service all the time!
Also amazing breakfast in the morning and overall the staff were overly friendly.

Wow!! Do not hesitate to book. I was really skeptical when booking because I did not believe that an oasis like this would exist in Old Town. But it was incredible! Our host, Aunya, was adorable and treated us SO well despite the fact that my family was only staying for one night. I recommend booking for 2 or even 3 nights in order to really enjoy the property and explore Chiang Mai. Our host was SO well organized and well prepared to help her guests have an amazing stay in Old Town. She had so many recommendations and offers--we were sad that this was just a one night stay to end our 2.5 weeks of exploring Thailand. The property was exceptional---absolutely incredible wooden lanna style homes. I am not sure that I have ever stayed in a place with SO much detail. This is an art lovers paradise--the craftsmanship was extraordinary--from the floors to the ceiling. I wish I could live here. We spent our short time in Old Town well--Aunya recommended a yummy place for us to enjoy Khao Soi. We then ventured off to Charin's pies (a staple visit for us in Chiang Mai) and then spent 4 hours exploring the Saturday Night Market (and the Silver Temple). In the morning, Aunya guided us through an AMAZING and relaxing Thai herbal spa treatment, we mixed our own loose leaf teas, enjoyed the luscious organic bath products available to us, and ate one of the best breakfasts that we've had in Thailand. The organic and herbal wellness was so enjoyable--all four of us were sad to leave for the airport (though a free transport was included in our stay). Additionally--I forgot to mention--Aunya was fantastic and quick to help us when there had been a booking miscommunication. We actually needed an additional bed in one of the rooms. We were expecting maybe a cot or a roll-away style bed; however, the staff brought in a full, wooden-framed bed to accommodate our family. Spectacular service, amazing energy, relaxing stay--I cannot recommend enough!
I prefer to sleep in. However, the top floor bedroom had many uncovered windows. It made the room breathtakingly beautiful, but it also meant for an early rise! Be prepared. Otherwise, my only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

The staff is great, always friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever a problem. Location is great, it is in close to shops and restaurants but if you want to have calm holiday, you can,. The pool is one of most beautifully created pools i have seen.
If it was not for the closure of last minute pool/ facilities due to wedding, i would have said perfect holiday spot if you want a high end calm resort stay in Thailand.
You cannot ” trust” that you can use the facilities….on Friday evening we get note that on the Saturday we cannot use the pool and rest due to wedding as from 13h. And same for Sunday. Since only one pool and the seas was rough, you really could not use facility. When you have a week vacation and for 2 days you cannot use the facilities as you had intended, it is very disappointing. The hotel knew this 1 year in advance and the least i would have expected is that they inform you upfront so that you have a chance to change venue. This did not happen, it was all an unpleasant last minute surprise. The staff was great in trying to manage but fact was there, the hotel was closed off for long time for the other guests staying there Have stayed at many high end resorts/hotel but have never experience this.
In addition, the hotel is branded as calm classy hotel and the wedding was gay wedding and on the Sunday pool party, it was extravagant with dragshow, alcohol etc in middle of the property. Not compatible w the brand and how teh hotel is portraying itself on Tripadvisor and Booking com. Really a big mistake.
