Beautiful and elegant hotel while remaining unpretentious. Felt like staying with long lost family. I loved the family photos in the lobby, along with the creative decor (paintings, comfy furniture, eclectic style). We were welcomed warmly by reception and at the bar each time we entered. Gorgeous pool and immaculately maintained gardens. I got a room with balcony and a view over the valley, which truly brought me a sense of calm. The bathroom was large, very clean, and recently updated. Loved the olive oil bath products so much that I bought the shower gel to bring home with me; I’ve already gone through it and want more! Overall, truly a pristine hotel. We enjoyed the comfortable outdoor furniture, where we sat having our evening aperitivo. Also loved the fabulous and varied breakfast every morning. Easy walking distance to the restaurants in Capalbio town for a fun night out. Good base for visiting the Tarot Garden. I will be back! PS Don’t forget to say hi to the real boss, black kitty Bruschetta.
Loved everything. Minor request to add mosquito screens to all windows and doors. My friend had the screen because she was in a suite, but I did not and so I had to keep the windows closed, even though it was beautiful late summer weather. The suite also has a comfy bathrobe and the tea kettle in the room. I wish my room had those things, so just —next time I will plan for the suite. But I also feel like these are simple things that could be added to all the rooms to elevate the whole hotel. Minor request and not really a flaw, just a preference. Loved this hotel!

The staff working at this hotel are incredible. Everyone was so helpful, kind, and friendly. The hotel is a bit older, but spotless. The breakfasts are amazing too. I highly recommend!
