L’accueil, très familiale, repas du soir possible certains jours en fonction du nombre d’inscrits. Petit déjeuner +. Appartements fonctionnels et frais malgré la température à 37’C. Piscine pour se détendre en fin de journée. Possibilité de manger sur la terrasse. Au milieu des vignes et oliviers.

De lokatie met fantastisch uitzicht. De hygiëne van de appartementen. De vriendelijke hosts. De avondmaaltijden en de Apero Nights die georganiseerd worden. Het zwembad. En de ligging ten opzichte van Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Vinci ect.
De airconditioning boven in ons appartement werkte op zich prima maar de koude lucht kon niet goed circuleren omdat er een plank boven de unit zat. Uitwijken naar het bankbed beneden was geen optie, dit was erg oncomfortabel terwijl het bed boven echt fijn was. We hebben ons verblijf hier zeker niet door laten bederven.

The view
We had car trouble twice and were also stuck in traffic. I kept the owner updated each time about where we were and our expected arrival time. The last update was at 7 PM, when we were still an hour away and waiting for roadside assistance. Check-in was officially until 8 PM.
We eventually arrived at 8:30 PM. The first thing the owner said to us, before even saying hello, was: “You are late.” Given the circumstances and the fact that we had kept her informed, this made us feel very unwelcome.
She gave us a very quick tour and then left to make dinner for her husband. We had told her that we had not stopped for food because we were trying to arrive by 8 PM, so we were very hungry. Unfortunately, there was nothing available to eat, not even something small like chips or nuts we aked for.. After such a stressful journey, a little hospitality would have been appreciated but zero empathy when I explained about our day in person after I already did it over text! She keps saying that its late and she started working since morning and check in time is untill 8pm.
