Everything! Great location, really comfortable private room, great facilities and hang out spaces, and a brilliant menu for food and drinks.
Wifi is great, but my internet via eSIM cut in and out in that spot. Could have been the eSIM provider, and the wifi is great so you can always switch to wifi when at the Hostel.

Good location with easy walk to the lake and lots of restaurants. Also near station. Food was good and convenient.
Not as sociable hostel as we were hoping for. There is a lift for upper floors, but you jave to go up 2 lots of stairs to get to it.

The hostel's communal areas are great - the garden, restaurant, and seating. They are enjoyable places to eat, meet other travellers, and chill. The staff were fairly helpful for booking tours. It is a good location for walking to the lake, old town, and places to eat.
The room is very noisy including at night. You can hear everything from the corridors - people talking, doors opening and closing, footsteps etc. Despite being upgrade to the 'Peppa pig family room', the room was musty, dusty and dark. The bunkbed over the double bed is not very pleasant. The room is not that cheap for Kunming.
