About this house rental
Located in Pensacola Beach, this charming house for $900 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Sydney's Sandcastle, located in a private, gated community on Pensacola Beach, features a community pool and pool house, with a 160 ft. pier on the Santa Rosa Island Sound. This upscale 3500 sq. ft. home enjoys sweeping, unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. Spacious living room with built-in entertainment center, dining room, kitchen and 5 over sized bedrooms all with high ceilings, 8 ft. doors and recessed lighting. Our living room, dining room and kitchen are all open light and bright with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Mexico. Our dining room table seats 10-12, in addition to the bar that seats 3. All together, we can seat 25+ in the open dining room/living room/kitchen! Amenities include a wet bar with refrigerator. No detail has been overlooked. More than 1500 square feet of decks with spectacular water views which complete this luxury home. Comfortable accommodation for families as well as corporate functions. Severe Weather: If hurricanes or other extreme weather conditions occur, Emergency Management may issue a mandatory evacuation notice. Accommodation refunds will be prorated from the time of your departure from the island during the mandatory evacuation. Housekeeping: Accommodations will be cleaned to quality standards prior to your arrival and after your departure. Linens are provided and must not be removed from the unit. There is not an on-site housekeeper. .

Our group of 3 families (6 adults and 7 kids) really enjoyed our stay here over Labor Day weekend! The house had plenty enough space for all of us, and we especially loved the expansive balcony. The guys loved having 3 TVs in the living room so they could watch 3 different football games at once. The kitchen was well stocked and had very good quality pots and pans (especially for a rental!). It was a little tricky not having a garbage disposal in the sink, but we made do. The location was perfect - a short walk to the beach and also close to lots of restaurants, souvenir shops, the bay, etc. The only complaints we had were that the house was not cleaned well when we arrived (dirty, sandy floors and funky carpet), and there were no ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms.

The location of this home meets the needs of anyone who enjoys the water, whether it be sand and waves at the beach, calm waters and boating on the sound, or peaceful swimming in the pool. The home is spacious and accommodated our family; also accommodated our extended family (40+ staying in the neighborhood) for dinner every night.
The owners are exceptional—we had no internet and a broken cooktop when we arrived. Owners came by the next day to see if it was something they could fix—to no avail. Being 4th of July weekend, we were concerned issues couldn’t be addressed until after the holiday BUT with lots of persuasion from the owners, both repairmen showed up the next day and and everything was repaired. Could not ask for a better response to issues that arise unexpectedly.
We are looking forward to a stay again next year.

Great family location
We had 11 people In our group, 6 adults and five kids. This place was perfect. The owner is quick to respond and was very helpful. The blinds do cause some minor issues but we had no concern of privacy. Awesome place! If we go back to Pensacola we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this home! LOVED IT!

Great Property But Lacks Proper Maintenance
Owner was nice and easy to communicate with prior to stay. The property is spacious and has a great layout. With that said, upon arrival we discovered that the refrigerator/freezer smelled of spoiled shrimp. Boxes of baking soda had been placed but the smell took over everything. The ice maker in the wet bar was out of order. We were told not to use the extra refrigerator/freezer downstairs. Even though this house sleeps 15, there were only 14 forks and they were from 7 different sets of flatware. There is no garbage disposal in kitchen sink which was a major inconvenience. The vent in the master bedroom toilet area was not functional. The toilet is closed into a very small area so not being able to vent was unpleasant. The vertical blinds were mismatched and had large gaps with slats missing that left us exposed to anyone outside of our bathroom or bedroom. Handles on furniture were broken and drawers pull out and can drop on your foot. Beautiful balconies but cheap plastic chairs for sitting and enjoying the view were all that were present. The towels were of very poor quality. My family has stayed in two other houses in this same neighborhood over the past six years. They both offered a much better experience for less money.

Great house, plenty of room, very comfortable, kitchen well equipped! Some vertical blind slats were missing in Master Bath (didn’t shower in there at night!Haha!), and in a front first floor bedroom, but owner has their replacements on order. Quiet neighborhood and great location to get to beach across the main road. Soundside dock is being redone, due to recent hurricane damage… but will be a nice addition when finished.

Nicest house in subdivision
The subdivision is located right before the heavily congested areas so traffic was minimal which was awesome. Local restaurants and shops were only a few miles down the road so easy access to everything. Neighbors were nice and always greeted us with a smile. House was super clean when we arrived. Wifi and mobile data both strong signals. All around an awesome experience and will definitely come back

Perfect spot
We had an absolutely lovely stay in Pensacola! This house was perfect location, enormous, Exceptionally clean, and very well stocked! We travel down for a school trip to do service work in the area after the hurricanes of 2020, and this was the perfect spot for us to gather after our work was done. We could not have been more happy, and cannot wait to book again!

Family Thanksgiving Vacation
The house was clean and beautifully located between the Gulf and the Bay. Our family spent the week of Thanksgiving at Sydney's Castle and was very appreciative for the large Kitchen with 2 ovens and all the utensils. The only complaint is the mattresses in each bedroom could be replaced as well as the bed linens. Otherwise the house was a great place to vacation with our family.

Nice Vacation Home
The property owner was very easy to work with. Before even renting the property, I had a special request about length of stay and she worked with me to help me out. The house was very comfortable and nice. It was so close to the ocean, the pool and the sound. We enjoyed all three. There were plenty of beach towels and chairs to use. There were also many pots and pans to choose from in the kitchen. Since we cooked in a good bit that was very helpful. I would stay at this location again. We had a very enjoyable vacation.

Perfect location
Great property for our large family! This was the third time we have stayed at Sydney’s Sandcastle and we plan to come again. We especially enjoyed the sound side this visit for snorkeling, fishing and watching the sunset. Gulf, sound with dock and neighborhood pool - this property has it all!

Wedding Stay
The house was located directly across the street from some of the best beaches in the area and 1.5 miles from the beach wedding venue. The properties had all the amenities we needed for in-home and beach activities. We will definitely stay at this vacation property for future family vacations.

Great location on Pensacola Beach
Our family enjoyed this spacious luxury home Jul 13-20. Great beach access thru the palm trees. Lazy Days Beach Service set up umbrellas and chairs for us. Tania has extra chairs, umbrellas and toys too. Enjoyed the close neighborhood pool too. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook each night. We had cool nights in the upstairs bedrooms by simply leaving the bedroom doors closed at all times. We also enjoyed good dusk pictures on the bay side. The Grand Marlin, Hemingways, Cafe Nola, Peg Leg Petes all had good food. We also got to enjoy a Blue Angels show! We all agreed that this house suited our family well!

Pensacola Beach at it's best
The pictures does not do this property justice. It is much bigger than we thought in the photos. The condo was very clean and we had no problems with anything. easy walk to the beach from across the street, but nothing blocking the view of the beach from the house. There is beach umbrellas, chairs, floats, and many other beach toys and stuff to use.

A vacation for the books
Thanks Sydney's Sandcastle for making our family vacation a memorable time. The house was very accommodating for our group of 15. The short walk to the bEACH and all amenities provided by house made our beach trip very easy and carefree. We'd love to return again one day. Tania was very responsive. The cleaning crew got our check-in day off by one day so we had to wait for them to come clean before we could check-in. Tania said it could take up to 3 hours and I'm pretty sure the crew had it done it half the time or less. They were all very apologetic and got the job done. Also, I texted Tania the night before check-out asking what all needed to be done our end as far as laundry, dishes, etc and she told us not to worry about a thing! talk about one less stressor when you're trying to pack up with 10 kids! Also, we accidentally left with a house key and Tania quickly responded with a return address for key instead of a key fee like some owners will do. Wonderful home. Thank you.

The only downside, AC couldn’t keep up. It was hot at night in bedrooms and there were no ceiling fans.

Great Stay - Spring Break 2019
We have an fabulous stay in Pensacola. The house was everything it lived up to be. The kitchen had modern appliances and very well equipped. The house was well kept and very clean. It was a pleasure staying.

Amazing, Beautful House that views the beach
Once we arrived at the house, we realized how gorgeous the house was. It’s in a gated community making it more safer stay. Also, the house sits right between the Sound and the Gulf with nothing blocking the view. We had a great time for our short break and the host was very nice and has done a great job at keeping the house looking perfect. Beds are comfortable and definitely feels like home. Would recommend this house to anyone who has a big group or multiple families searching to stay on Pensacola Beach.

Another Great Stay at Sydney's Sandcastle
This property has one of the best locations on the beach because it is across the street from the ocean, as well as connected to the Sound. We had another great trip in Pensacola Beach because of the beautiful weather and the beautiful place we stayed. It's always nice to come "home" to a nice place while on vacation because it doesn't make you feel like you always need to be out in the town finding things to do. Sydney's Sandcastle is my favorite place to stay in Pensacola Beach and I can't wait for the next time I get to do so!

Great home on a great beach
We brought our family of 12 down for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home had plenty of room for us to spread out, the kitchen was spacious and well appointed with everything needed to cook for our large group and the garage had plenty of beach toys and chairs. We really liked the large porches that face the beach with their wonderful views. The location is tremendous and at the very end of the busy part of Pensacola Beach with an easy walk acros the street to the beautiful beach. Tania was a joy to work with and was very easy to communicate with. We hope to come back next year and Sydney’s Sandcastle will be our pick!
