Amazing 11C castle - high on a hill. Atmospheric. Spacious and light - another world really. A family with 3 small children, a huge apartment (house) with 4 poster beds. Lovely. At night the restaurant was perfect for our needs and the children's menu very good. Pool was fab, gardens too - it was a great base to visit places and also lovely to stay and hang out by the pool. Lots of uneven floors, no lifts, but all gorgeous. You do have to head out for a coffee for breakfast - rooms do have kitchen and they supply mocha pots - but if you haven't bought supplies then its a 5 minute drive down the hill

Staying in a castle was amazing.
Our room was perfect for 3 of us sharing.
Having the restaurant available was good for first night especially.
Night time noise. Not every night.
Uncertain if there is a curfew & if people realize rooms located in the reception lobby.

It was great to stay in this historic property. The staff were very helpful!
The windows did not have screens. So we had some mosquito bites and spider bites.

Unique facility as it is a former 13th century castle.
The apartment that was provided to us we very musty and damp. We were unable to change apartments upon arrival and then was not contacted by management the next day, while we were sightseeing, that another apartment was available. Office hours at the facility are very limited. The road signage to the facility is poor making it a bit tricky to locate at night. The restaurant was poor with generally poor service.
We ended up cutting our stay short due to the poor condition of the assigned apartment!
