Someone met us to let us into the property and hand over the keys we needed for our stay. It was great to know we had a secure place to park with the beach, Turkish stairs and restaurants within walking distance! The room was simple, yet clean and comfortable for the one night we stayed. Breakfast was convenient and the staff very friendly.

Francesco hat uns persönlich empfangen und war sehr freundlich und hat uns direkt wohlfühlen lassen . Das Frühstück wurde uns morgens frisch geliefert und Cappuccino war ausgezeichnet.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon Meerblick der Sonnenaufgang war atemberaubend

Die Gastgeber Francesco und die junge Dame Desire waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Buchstäblich am Abend vor unserer Anreise habe ich gefragt, ob es glutenfreies Brot zum Frühstück gibt, und sie haben extra viele verschiedene glutenfreie Sachen besorgt. Das war wirklich sehr lieb und keineswegs selbstverständlich.
Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit, im Zimmer Kaffee zuzubereiten. Allerdings war ich bereits in mehreren Unterkünften auf Sizilien und hatte dort ebenfalls nie diese Möglichkeit – daher scheint das dort offensichtlich Standard zu sein.
Die Scala dei Turchi ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Leider gibt es in der näheren Umgebung kein Lebensmittelgeschäft und auch die Auswahl an Restaurants ist eher begrenzt, wenn man zu Fuß unterwegs ist. Mit dem Auto sieht die Sache natürlich ganz anders aus.

Great location for access to the beach via 177 steps. Secure Parking, lots of information given about the area.
A good budget stay.
