De kamers en het verblijf waren heel mooi. Ook de omgeving is prachtig.
De weg er naartoe waren we al gewaarschuwd dat slecht onderhouden was, maar deze was vele slechter dan gedacht. Wij hebben verschillende keren de onderkant van onze auto geschraapt zelfs aan de ingang bij de poorten moet je opletten want daar loopt het het meeste mis.
Het ontbijt hadden we uitgebreider verwacht.

Don’t leave your shoes out of the room the little wild fox will take it 😅 I have nothing bad to say this was more a funny moment.

So beautiful and peaceful ! Team were lovely and the pool was great. Food is amazing highly recommend booking in for dinner. Wish we could of stayed for longer
Beds were a bit firm for us but that’s preference more than anything. Track to the property is rustic so wouldn’t recommend a low down car driving up it.

If the rating was about the friendly staff or the incredible farm location with the amazing view and the type of quiet that warms your soul - then I would have given a 10/10 but unfortunately for us, a gorgeous view doesn’t give you a nutritious breakfast or a comfortable nights sleep.
1. The mattresses were hideous to sleep on. I was given a queen bed which was two very old single mattresses pushed together. Both of these sagged significantly in the middle the only part of them that gave even a little support was the spine down the middle that joined the mattresses together we. My back hurt, I didn’t sleep well and couple with the sheets and the breakfast - put me and my son in a place where our immune system lowered and we ended up getting a really (really) bad flu which then ruined the next week of our first holiday in Italy.
2. The sheets and duvet were extremely thin and not sufficient for the cold weather. They were also made of such a cheap material both my son and I were extremely itchy which doubles down the effect of the matteresses.
3. If you like having a buffet dessert for breakfast then this is your place as they will serve ten types of cake, bread and croissants. But if you were looking for a substantial breakfast that would provide nutritional , protein and sustenance for your day long excursions …. Their breakfast will leave you deeply disappointed. With cafes being so expensive, I had researched and chose this place also based on the reviews of their breakfast and the photos that looked like cooked breakfasts with eggs etc in the photos - this isn’t the case.
4. The road in to the property is a 1.5km
“Off road” track. Massive potholes and a two wheel drive will have its tyres slip and spin on multiple sections (in Australia I drive in off road tracks all the time so know poor conditioned roads when I see them). I was lucky I added the full insurance to my hire car, If I hadn’t, I would have been in danger of massive excess fees because of how poor the condition of the track is and the damage that was done to the car in getting in and out of the place to your Tuscany each day.
