Exceptional location in a fort. Room was ok, although being described as a suite on Booking was pushing it a bit. Fairly steep price considering but then it was the weekend. Breakfast was poor: my partner found all on off very dry (bread and cakes). And their „form“ to fill out for a coffee was just weird and unnecessary.
Too much of a stick up their ass. Relax and ditch the pointless coffee card.

Exception hotel and service. The hotel had the original fortress vibe, but still manage to incorporate all modern luxury amenities. Staff was super helpful, showing us what and how to explore in the area. Food was amazinga modern twist of traditioanl local cousine. Everythign was up to last detail and it made our stay the best one in Tuscany

Very special experience - a hotel inside an ancient fortress. Great value for money. The staff was super nice - before & during our stay.
Also the food in the hotel's restaurant was very good.

The location was beautiful, especially knowing that the property was once a fortress. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the room was very different from the photos. It was a nice room, but not one that felt worth the price we paid. The door also could not be properly locked because the knob was loose. The staff were aware of the issue, but simply told us to pull the door harder.
During the night, there was a storm and the electricity went out. As a result, we had no way to charge our phones or use the fan, making the room uncomfortably hot and difficult to sleep in.
At checkout, we were told that there was nothing they could do about the weather, which is understandable. However, we were disappointed that they did not even try to offer any form of compensation or discount, especially considering that we had paid extra for the cellar tour and wine tasting and had also purchased a bottle of their wine.
