A wonderful place to stay!

This is a wonderful resort on an incredibly beautiful island. We loved our stay here. We had an ocean view room with a spectacular view. Most of the staff were wonderful, kind and helpful. The restaurants and shop were really good. The whole place was beautiful. We're so happy we got to stay here!

Some areas of the hotel could do with updating - the hallway leading to our room looked a bit old and dated and the bathroom in our room was a bit old and dated. There was one staff member that made us slightly uncomfortable because he was a bit over-friendly and said some inappropriate things but other than him all of the other staff and our overall experience was wonderful.

clean rooms, not a vertical hotel, lot of space. free laundry.

the cart rental should be free or at least less expensive. or the free shuttle to the beach should depart every 15 minutes ... the light from corridor came inside the room from windows it was very difficult to sleep.

very poor. it doesn’t value the money paid.

sea ocean is beautiful...

room not clean, dirty towels, balcony with wood deck broken and not safe for kids as a whole. very poor presentation and service from staff. lack of respect and professionalism from staff. would never recommend any one to spend hours flying from Tokyo and arrive in this hotel with such a poor service and no quality as a whole. after rushing to go to hotel and arriving in the hotel around 13:30~14:00 had to wait until 14:50 to get a room. Kids we’re exhausted and without any eat, plus had to wait more then an hour to get my room. breakfast was bad, no cheese, no bread toaster or machine to heat the bread. no variety of hot dishes just the standard ones, like egg, fried potatoes and etc...

Beautiful grounds and a lot to explore. They have a variety of areas to keep you entertained during your stay. Beach is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable stay in beautiful resort with great food

The rooms were incredibly spacious and even the garden view rooms felt luxurious. The beds were very comfortable as well. The dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious and fairly good value. It was nice to see such an emphasis on dishes using local foods. The "spa" (onsen with outdoor bath) was very nice and felt great on a December evening. We also appreciated the free shuttle to and from the port.

The entryway light in the rooms is automatic, meaning that if you get up in the middle of the night for any reason, it comes on and takes a bit of time to turn off. It's not a huge issue but could be distracting to light sleepers. It also seemed as if most of the guests were using golf carts to get around the resort, but there wasn't much info on that. Not sure if it was included in certain room packages or not.
