we didn't do breakfast but should have since nothing much is open outside early enough for Australians who get up and go early compared to the French! It could not have been more convenient to walking the old city and visiting places. The train and the tourist office are nearby. It was terrific and I thoroughly recommend it. Basic but great.
a fridge would have been good for our cheese purchases and water or maybe use of a communal fridge in the breakfast area. The shower was treacherous and very slippery with the soap dispenser located just too far to reach without stepping out onto wet tiles. But slippery showers seems to be universal in France so just be careful, everyone

Extremely central location, next to the Place de la Bourse, mirror pool and riverside; helpful staff, a spacious, air conditioned room, and a cute breakfast room.
Staircase needs a thorough cleaning.
