The property was exactly what we needed, a calm very quite secluded property high in the Tuscan hills.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like… however the road to the property is not for the faint hearted.

Lovely place where kids can roam freely and parents can rest

We have been at Poggiolo for the 2nd time in a row. The place is as last year spotless and a little gem of tranquility. The owners are lovely and food is excellent.

The only thing that is a challenge is dinner time at 20.30. The food though both breakfast and dinner is fantastic and worth waiting for.

It was the most relaxing and beautiful holiday in the past 10 years. We'll be back 😉

Serena and Alessandro have fulfilled their lifelong dream and share it with their guests. We particularly liked the location and the spacious property as well as the warm hospitality. Noteworthy is the excellent and varied cuisine. Try the “Bistecca alla Fiorentina” made by Serena! If someone is looking for a combination of peace, nature, nice people and good food, this is the right place for them. Grazie per la vacanza indimenticabile!

Not a negative point, but from our point of view it should at least be mentioned. If someone comes with a lowered sports car and little driving experience, they might have some problems accessing the property. But, it´s not impossible to go there.

a real gem to visit - a family friendly place with exquisite food!

this place is a real gem among the agriturismi in Tuscany! the owners Alessandro and Serena are incredibly friendly and wonderful hosts. the food is exquisite - breakfast and dinner. we immediately felt like part of the family and due to their open way we also quickly became friends with all other guests. the place is very green and has a wonderful view over the valley. in between olive trees and wine grapes you find some friendly animals. we definitely come back - we came as strangers and left as friends! mille grazie ancora!!
