Great location for a couple of friends or a small family for a weekend away.

Located right in the centre of town. Our room, The West Wing had a queen room and twin beds in another. Generous size bathroom, fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Even though it was on opposite corners to 2 pubs, it was very quiet in the evening. Would highly recommend for a short stay in Mansfield.

i recommend that the owners spend a night or two there and see for themselves what needs to be done

We loved the location, and beautiful old building. Beds comfy. No noise from outside in the street ..or inside from other guests. when we realised there was no microwave we rang up and with in a very short time a microwave was delivered. thank you

We were quite surprised at the lack of space in the rooms. there was no cupboard space to put clothes suitcases either . the one table was very rickety so not able to be used. The worse was the shower over the bath..spar. At our age and even for our daughter it is a VERY high step in and out. it was good having the cutlery and crockery but there was no detergent or tea towel. we never had the rubbish collected and there was no extra bags to use. I wouldn't recommend your property for more than a two night stay.

Very good

Location was right in the middle of Mansfield. Had everything I needed and could walk around Mansfield.

Majority of it was amazing, smaller than i expected but that’s not a bad thing was a bit cramped upstairs in the bedroom. Bit noisy but that’s due to being in the middle of the town.

Great place to stay

an excellent comfortable centrally located property with everything you could wish for provided, except perhaps a more comfortable reading chair in the bedroom. but there is a shared lounge downstairs which does have them. Overall excellent property.

We enjoyed our stay particularly the drive to Jamieson.

What breakfast?

We are too old to climb a ladder to reach the bedroom. My fault for not realising. The toilet brush was dirty and the pillows were like lumps of concrete. However the position was good in spite of trucks coming and going on Tuesday night and early morning.

Very enjoyable and loved the accommodation.

Perfect location, right in the middle of town, yet really quiet. Very easy and secure access to property with great communication in the lead up to our arrival. The welcome chocolates were a lovely touch, as was heaving the heating on for our arrival.

Not so many stairs to carry up the staircases. Older people may struggle, as there wasn't a lift.

beautiful historic building ! nice lounge and facilities.

we were in the loft with a tiny space for the bed upstairs and a small bathroom . our friends had a huge room and. bathroom which was beautifully furnished . rooms are not the same standard .

Very central location, clean and tidy place

The power point for the fridge and the kettle trips off quite often. It would have been perfect if there was a microwave and a toaster.

loved the location, easy access into the building and checking in

the bed was super worn in, the toilet didn’t flush properly, funds didn’t come out of my account until the day of my stay.

Under the master bed needed cleaning as you could clearly see under there when coming up the stairs.

Good location

Some basic facilities like shower caddy or microwave access were missing. Take away food could not be reheated. Only one spoon was provided. These things can enhance the experience for our next visit.

Superb

The location was great and the room was beautifully decorated. The bathroom was an excellent size and clean.

I found it difficult to view the room on Booking.com and was expecting a separate sitting room too. But that didn't worry us too much. It would be good to inform potential guests that there is a steep flight of stairs to most of the rooms and this could be difficult for some people, especially if you have heavy luggage.

beautiful place - recommended for people who can go upstairs

Lovely cousy place in the heart of Mansfield, at a drive distance of a lot attractions and foot steps to all the local shops. Lovely and friendly staff 😊. No noise despite of the location

just a suggestion. it will be good if they provided some frypans as all it was there to cook was only 2 pots. it will also be nice to have the wifi details handy and a list of restaurants in the area. It will also be nice to have someone who answers the phone and emails promptly , apart from these the place is just lovely and very relaxing to stay at 👌

It is such a nice place and perfect location!

The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for anyone heading to Mount Buller. Very nice decor and excellent bathroom.

The room heater was not working properly.
