Located in Deer Park Township, this lovely cabin for $116 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Summary: Family friendly rustic cabin next to Starved Rock State Park. The Space: Fall in love with Starved Rock State Park during your stay at this great 2BR 2BA cabin. Our cabin sits just a 1.5 miles from Starved Rock with its wonderful canyons and waterfalls. An immaculate 1800 square feet cabin situated in Grizzly Jack's where you will find all the amenities you will need for a great stay. For an additional fee, you can enjoy a miniature golf as well as a restaurant, bar and an arcade. Bedroom Configuration (all bedrooms are upstairs): 1 MASTER KING bedroom with ensuite bathroom and one twin fold sleeper, TV 1 MASTER QUEEN bedroom with two QUEEN beds and ensuite bathroom, TV There is also a double sofa sleeper in the living room. Within a very short drive from this home you will not only find two state parks but two wineries, a museum, a golf course and other great things to discover in the area. Important notices: Our cabin is not part of the hotel pool at Grizzly Jack's resort and therefore we please ask our guests to not make inquiries at the resort reception desk since it's only for guests who are staying in one of the cabins managed by the hotel. Guests who are renting directly with us cannot access the indoor water park, it's currently only for hotel guests and local residents. Rules for access to the indoor water park have changed several times lately so please check their website for latest update before making a reservation if this is important to you: https://www.grandbearresort.com/waterpark

The condo was the perfect size for our group and close to Starved Rock State Park and downtown Utica. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, utensils, & dishes. The bedrooms were spacious and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, very clean and cozy.

The property was amazing! We will definitely be back. Beautiful location, very clean, wide open spaces. Plenty to do! Close to Starved Rock State Park, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, fishing etc. We all had a wonderful time an everyone was very impressed with the cabin an the area

We loved the property. We have stayed in another cabin on the property previously so we weren’t surprised to find we loved this cabin as well. There were issues with the internet, but because we were there to see family/friends, it didn’t affect our stay. The owner was great at inquiring about it and following up on repairs to internet in the weeks leading up to our stay and we appreciated the feedback! Would stay here again next time! We had a perfect, relaxing experience at the property. The accommodations were perfect for our stay. There was more than enough space and the kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough things that were needed for our stay.

The property was exceptionally clean and close to the state parks. It was cozy and inviting and had everything we needed for a great getaway! The fireplaces are beautiful - (even though it was summer and we didn’t use them) .

This was a great place to relax and recharge. Loved being near the state park and it was easy to go to the surrounding towns for meals.
The kitchen was fully equipped, but it would have been nice to have a larger coffee maker. The one in this unit only made 4 cups. We did have a problem with the temperature. The thermostat is on the first floor and until we lowered the setting to 65 we were very hot upstairs.

We had a great stay! Cabin was huge, clean and had everything you might need. Kitchen was stocked with dinnerware and cookware. The beds were super comfy and the host was quick to respond to any questions I had. The grounds are beautiful. We even had two baby raccoons visit our back patio. Adorable! Great stay - we would definitely stay there again!

House was immaculate and well-appointed. It is part of a larger community of similar buildings so can be difficult at night to find. Well located between Oglesby and Ottawa and very close to national parks.

Place was roomy with plenty of eating space and hot water! Reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay very much. Place was as pictured. Quiet area with plenty to see around and within driving distance. Town of Utica was nice to walk through and see shops, museum, etc. Starved Rock was beautiful. We would stay again.

This is a very comfortable condo located behind Grand Bear water park. There was a sweet little stream behind our unit and balconies off the bedrooms on the second floor. Birds were chirping happily in the woods and frogs in the pond. Very idyllic and peaceful. Plenty of parking and easy entrance to the unit on arrival. The unit was clean and the beds comfortable. We were able to easily contact management when needed. We went to a wedding at Starved rock which is about 5 minutes away. And there was beautiful hiking trails at Starved rock 5 min away. We did not need to use the water park at Grand Bear which was good because they are not welcoming. However, we loved this location and the condo.

Our stay was nice. The townhouse had a nice cabin feel. Our family enjoyed out time in the townhouse.

Property manager in France couldn't get in, no code, no instruction couldn't find the place without asking the lodge for help which they seem annoyed with and we were advised not to do but there was no other way to find it. Then after 2 hours waiting in snow we get a code after raising a fuss with vrbo who was unable to reach the owner as well..Small water heater jacuzzi gets one fill, then you better not need hot water. Nice place not well managed.
After the 1st day it was a bit more enjoyable.
