Located in Deer Park Township, this lovely villa for $152 per night is a great choice for your next break. Come relax and enjoy the fresh air in this Vacation Villa located inside the Grand Bear Resort. This beautiful 2-story home is decorated with rustic log style furnishings. The generous 1,800 square foot Villa sleeps 9 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, comforting fireplaces, televisions, a patio, 2 balconies, washer/dryer, kitchen & dining area. The kitchen is complete with all major appliances dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, dinnerware, eating utensils and basic cookware. To maximize your rental experience please consider bringing any special items you may need. There is a 24 hr convince store located inside the resort lobby, should you forget something. -The Master bedroom features a king-size bed, pull out twin sofa sleeper, fireplace, TV, private vanity and whirl pool tub. -The Second bedroom features 2 queen size beds, TV and balcony. -Folding bed available -Free WIFI access -Special rates when booking 7 nights or more Enjoy the get away from the bright city lights to the natural beauty and serenity of the Starved Rock Area of Illinois. An experience you won't forget with family & friends. Unwind on breathtaking hikes or kick back and toast with a glass of wine at one of the local wineries. We look forward to your stay! Please note: **House keeping services are not provided for stays shorter then 7 nights. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the full size washer and dryer to launder the existing towels and linens for a fresh supply. *Villa toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper) will be provided but are based on the amount of people/duration of your stay. Should you feel more is needed while on your stay please feel free to visit the General Store located inside GrandBear Resort. *This Vacation Villa is privately owned and the use of some resort amenities (i.e. water park, mini golf) IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL. Tickets must be purchased separately. And you have to call Grand Bear Lodge in advance to check for availability. We are totally PRIVATE!! Spacious, clean villa with lots of kitchen amenities. Many beds for family to spread out and great table and bar to feed our group and enjoy board games. Sheets were available, but it was helpful to have extra pillows and blankets. Easy three minute drive to Starved Rock Lodge and trails! Additional family stayed at Grand Bear Lodge and had access to the water park which was a two minute walk from the villa. Perfect set-up for a family weekend!

Great stay overall but will add that shower upstairs would not drain, shower head needs replaced and water quality was not drinkable.

Our family had a wonderful vacation together. We appreciated being able to bring our dog with us. The villa was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. A couple of extra blankets and pillows would have been nice though. The onsite washer and dryer was great. Leaving with clean laundry was a definite perk. The owner is very responsive to questions. Thank you for a relaxing stay!

Excellent place to stay for any events happening in downtown Utica. We appreciated the spacious Villa and being able to bring our dogs. Plenty of green space around the property for walks and the owner was more than accommodating for our last minute guests. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our visit but we had to clean both showers there was used toilet paper in the bathroom trash can and a used wash cloth downstairs and upstairs bathroom there was hair in the shower and we had to clean the shower curtain liner before we took a shower other than that the place was good

Property was great and looked as advertised. Perfect for a getaway in the Starved Rock area. Martin quickly responded to any of my questions. Also, Martin was very accommodating with a special request, and he went above and beyond with making sure we had a good stay. I highly recommend this property.

The villa is very nice. Would highly recommend. A few cob webs here and there but overall clean. Comfortable beds. Keurig did not work, but the coffee pot did so we just used that. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 7 needed a place to stay while enjoying Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. I'm very glad that we found this place. It was affordable and had more than enough room for our large family, including lots of sleeping options. And having a full kitchen and laundry is a great bonus, especially when you get all sweaty and dirty from hiking around all day. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place! We had our 96 year old mother with us and it was very easy to get around on the first floor. We could easily roll her wheelchair around the kitchen and living area. Having the full bath, with walk in shower and the fold out couch in the living room made it very easy for her.

My sister and brother I. Law took the master bedroom and we took the second bedroom and we could share the bathroom between the two rooms.

Super cute, clean villa. Perfect for our group of nine. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. Had everything we needed for a great weekend. We got to enjoy the State park trails and the indoor water park (the kids loved it). Would definitely go back.

We love staying here for the convenience of it being so close to starved rock trails. It’s very homey feeling, but there are definitely some things that need to be updated. The upstairs pull out bed should be replaced. We noticed that two of the outlets in the living room area only worked with one plug-in. And also some of the extra blankets should be replaced.
But overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Every winter break, my family & I getaway between Christmas and New Year’s. We usually book a 5 day vacay. However, this place was less expensive to rent for 7 days than 5. It was cozy, clean, spacious & comfortable for my family of 7 & our puppy! We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very courtesy and kind. He replied to messages in no time. He even allowed us late check-out on New Year’s Day! We plan to stay again during warmer months.
