Beyond the basics, a place for me is really made or not by the hosts - and this one smashes that criteria. Fred is really friendly, a fount of knowledge about what to do and how, and also happy to leave you be when you want. I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 5 as a result!

Great location in the Old town and very helpful friendly owner. It was a very short walk to both Saturday and Sunday markets. There are lots of authentic eating places very close to the guest house. Be aware there is very little parking near.
I hope this will be viewed as constructive criticism .
There was no mechanical extraction in the bathroom and with the toilet door being right next to the bed it was not pleasant when using the facilities.
The pillow (only 1) was flat, old and very lumpy.

De locatie en de gastvrijheid van de host maken deze accomodatie echt een grote aanrader! Onze kamer was erg netjes en comfortabel, perfect voor een verblijf van 3 nachten en we hadden er zeker langer kunnen verblijven.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Perfect location, close to bars but not loud at night. The owners were incredible and they have a lovely dog. They were so helpful and kind and gave us really good insights. Definitely recommend this place.
