When you arrive at the front door you'll be welcomed by the warm and inviting colour of orange. Inspired by the flavour and energy of orange, for fun and excitement there's plenty of interesting places to explore and things to do during your stay. With easy access to facilities and activities, including indoor rock climbing, bike trails and bush walks. Turoa Ski Area is a 25 minute drive and it is a 45 minute drive to the picturesque Tongariro Crossing. You'll really appreciate being fully set-up to stay at home after a leisurely day in town or on the ski slopes, mountain biking or tramping. Modern, comfortable and warm - this home offers covered car parking, monitored security/smoke alarm, double glazing, gas hot water and a heat pump. Orange represents good living and appetite shared with friends, which the table seating for ten delivers. Most comforts of home are found in the sleek kitchen with feature splash back, quality kitchenware, coffee plunger, toastie sandwich maker and crockpot. Two bedrooms with queen beds conveniently adjoin a bathroom and the cosy bunk room sleeps six. All beds include feather duvets and electric blankets and there's a separate main bathroom, separate drying and laundry cupboards. For entertainment there's books to read and board games to play. Watch Freeview channels, DVDs, and screening Apps on the smart tv in the lounge. A second TV for watching DVDs is in the bunk room along with Playstation 2® to keep the gamers happy. For a break outside then grab a beanbag, sit on the deck and watch the sun set while the kids play happily on the lawn. Relax with views of Mt Ruapehu and the surrounding local countryside that is ever-changing between seasonal food crops. Orange celebrates Ohakune's famous icon - The Big Carrot, which stands 7.5m tall and it's a 5 minute walk for photos. Enjoy! Special conditions: Minimum 2 nights stay applies unless otherwise stated. Guest must dispose of their own rubbish and recycling. Bach to be left in a clean and tidy condition. No smoking permitted. No pets allowed. No skis, boots, snowboards or bikes allowed inside the bach. Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$100.00 per stay). The location was super close to everything we needed and had the most incredible views of the mountain. The house was clean and well presented, warm and very comfortable. It was a good fit for two families with young children. Had a great time

Loved staying at this beautiful whare. Even though there was no snow the kids loved the accommodation, and how close to town and the confidence course and playground we were. the bunk room was a real winner with all the toys games and pS4. And a great 1000 piece puzzle we all enjoyed together. Thanks for sharing your beautiful whare with us. Nic

We had a fabulous stay at this Bach, found the place to be spotlessly clean, warm and cozy, the kids loved the bunk room, toys and PlayStation! Beds were very comfortable, hot showers. Short walk to the Big Carrot playground. Host very quick and easy to communicate with. We were lucky with the weather and the kids loved their first time in the snow. Thank you!

Five days in school holidays, and happy to be at 26 Snowmass again. Well set up for a couple of families, or an extended one. Warm, modern house with plenty of room. Kitchen storage for food wanting, but sorted with use of a plastic crate or two. Will return!
