About this house rental
The perfect mountain getaway that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people! Located atop White Oak Mountain with views of the valley below and the Tryon International Equestrian Center off in the distance, along with many other attractions and things to do!
When you want to feel like you are disconnecting (to some degree) from the world...you will find the perfect balance here! The home has an elegant, spacious, yet mountain feel. With an open floor plan, deck and covered porch, it's a great place to entertain! Upstairs you will find vaulted ceilings, a great room with soaring windows on 2 walls and a centered fireplace creating warmth and ambiance. A large deck allows for an outdoor space with wonderful views. Two master bedrooms with en-suites are located on this floor along with another 1/2 bath. The large dining table will accommodate everyone. A well-stocked kitchen with gas stove has everything you would need to cook a special dinner. Down a spiral staircase you will find another sitting area, computer nook, and 2 more bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Hardwood floors throughout the home .
While, you will feel remote and 'away from it all', in actuality the home is located only 5 miles from the interstate! A strong wireless signal will give you access to the Internet and the opportunity to stream Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc. or watch TV via an antenna and get basic stations (no cable).
This home has many unique qualities to it but a couple that we love are that fact that it uses a cistern for it's water supply. And the roads leading up to the top of White Oak Mountain are all paved and easily drive-able. (And you pass a gorgeous waterfall along the way!)
The home is professionally cleaned. Linens, towels and the essentials to get you started (toilet paper, paper towels, soap & shampoo) are all provided for you!
NOTE: This is a quiet community and we ask that you respect the neighbors and keep noise and outdoor lights to a minimum after 10:00pm.

What a wonderful and wonderfully memorable holiday weekend trip! Cannot beat the views. We also appreciated the double master bedroom setup on the main floor and the additional den area as well as the jack and jill bathroom setup between the two bedrooms downstairs. While you may not think the views cannot get any better than from the deck, take the quarter mile walk further up the mountain to the community park area for so many breathtaking views.

We loved the property. It was in a fairly wooded area and the accommodations were great. It was only a short walk to get an excellent view. We shared lots of meals and enjoyed a lot of great music and now have great memories. We had lots of fun. It was big enough, yet cozy as well. It was perfect for our family of 9 plus 2 dogs. We could not have asked for more. We also saw three bears on the property. We wished we could have stayed longer.
