Love the location and ease of getting into the Kruger National Park. Modern up-to-date rooms.
Was super busy,nice for the hotel but I found it to crowded in gather areas for my liking.The space available in pool/river deck was over full in the prime river front,not enough loungers.

We loved our stay at Kruger Gate Hotel. The proximity to the Paul Kruger Gate made access to the morning safaris quick and easy. The breakfast and dinner buffets were unbelievable - so much variety each day. Absolute compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff. We also loved the bar and heated pool overlooking the Sabie River where we could enjoy a cocktail while spotting wildlife on the river banks. We appreciated that there was a Bluu car hire desk at the hotel as we were able to organise our own self-drive in Kruger through them. We also went on the whole day safari from the hotel - our guide was fabulous but the prices seemed higher than other providers who would have come to pick you up so perhaps some advice to shop around.
We opted to do the Panorama Tour through the hotel which we found expensive and didn't feel that we saw as many sights as we had hoped. We only had 4 stops during the day so I wouldn't recommend this.

The breakfast was lovely. Staff was very friendly. Very helpful when we wanted to change our room because we were not too happy at first. The Safari was absolutely amazing and our guide Nabele was so knowledgeable and lovely. Location was super too!
For what you pay it's really average. The dinner even below average. The lovely infinity pools is only for kid's 13 and older. Which a a pity when you travel with smaller kids but I get it. I gues we were just expecting more based on the reviews and pictures we saw.
