This house was fantastic! Great location - walking distance to Central Park, Times Square, Broadway. Very close to subway station as well. The neighborhood had a bunch of great little restaurants to explore. The house itself was lovely. The bedrooms were large, the kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to be able to do laundry. We felt very safe. Hostess was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We would stay here again anytime.

Great Location, Spacious Apt.
We were 4 adults and 3 teenagers and this place was perfect. Very close to several sights and subway stop. We had 2 floors, 4 BR and 2B. Big family/dining area and really clean and new feeling. My only caution is I would not recommend for anyone who cannot climb stairs. We would stay again!!!

Perfect place for a small bachelorette group
If you are looking for a place to stay in the city, near EVERYTHING, this location is IT! Look no further. First, the pictures do match the place, which I know is everyone’s first concern. Beautiful home; very modern look to it. Just be aware that you do need to take a long set of stairs to get to apartment 2. It’s nothing bad at all, but I do not recommend for those who might need an elevator to go up one floor.
The host provides plenty of instructions on how most things work, and is easy to get a hold of. Everything I asked thru text, they replied within minutes to. We did have small miscommunications, but host was very reasonable and worked with us at the end.
Would definitely book this location again! Thank you!

Everything went 100% as planned. The checkin details were clear and accurate and the property was as described in the photos and everything was very clean. The location worked well for my family as there are lot's of services within steps.

Great space, right in the middle of it all....we really enjoyed our time in New York and would stay again. Family gathering in nyc
Our stay was great in nyc and having the family together was wonderful. The flat was comfortable for us but lacked a few small extras that would have made this “ luxury apartment” even better. There were no tissues only basic toilet paper. There are no extra blankets for cold nights. We were freezing with no heat in the apartment in mid October. Lisa only provides one towel per person. It would have been nice to have a few more. There is no wiggle room with check out time. It would have been nice to be able to allow some flexibility there. Those were the main reasons we would give the apartment a 4 star rating and not a 5 star.

Great flat, great location
This was a family vacation with four teenagers. The flat was as advertised. Spacious with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen and also a washer and dryer. The location is ideal. Walking distance to broadway shows, Times Square, Central Park, Intrepid Museum and the subway. Several excellent restaurants right our door on the same block. Easy access to coffee shops and grocery stores. Walking distance to the High Line and several museums including Museum of Natural History. The neighborhood is safe and diverse. Food options were also diverse. Transportation options included subway, yellow Taxis and Uber. Easy transport to and from the airport as wee as to Battery Park. Do yourself a favor and book this location if you can as you won’t be sorry. Made for an excellent vacation.

LOCATION, LOCATION,LOCATION!!
This was our second time staying at this unit! We loved it so much the first time we all wanted to come back! The location can't be beat for this Mid Town unit. You can walk to Central Park, Broadway Shows, Rockefeller Center, Museums and Bryant Park. You can easily take the sub way, taxis or uber to anywhere else you need to see. There are amazing restaurants, a Rite Aid and local grocery stores for everything you may need. The unit is great for large families, just be aware of three sets of steps. There was four ladies traveling and we all had our own room. Plenty of privacy and had the family room to gather in the mornings and evenings. Lisa was quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our arrival. The outside is loud but you are in the city and that is expected. The bedroom facing 51st is the loudest, Lisa does provide ear plugs if needed. Lisa, I would suggest some upgrades to make the stay five stars. Pillows are in need to be changed out, the area rugs need to be replaced or professionally cleaned. The sofa is not comfortable but bearable. Kitchen needs to be inventoried, we considered cooking a few nights but supplies were lacking. We stayed 10 days and with four women we did use the washer and dryer which was a huge plus! We needed to purchase more laundry soap and paper towels. For 10 days wished more supplies were provided. There is no way to adjust heaters and we understood why but at time the unit was too HOT for all of us. We were overall pleased with staying at the unit and I believe others will also enjoy it!

Great apartment and exactly as described!
Not only is the apartment great but the location is excellent! We were in walking distance to all the main attractions and subway. Took the train in and walked from Penn Station to the apartment easily. And Lisa the owner is awesome! She answers your messages with in minutes and if you need to call her she answers or calls you right back.
The apartment had absolutely everything you could possibly need and very clean! We will definitely be looking to stay here again when we return to New York City next year!

Great location
The apartment was perfect for our needs. Very clean and excellent location. Communication with the owner was a breeze. Great restaurants within minutes walk. Subway 5 minutes away. Would highly recommend this apartment for a family reunion like we had

Location was great
Everyone has different expectations. There were good and bad things about this propery that I think are worth sharing. One thing I have to say is for pricing it really is not a bad deal. It is not the Four Seasons for sure but you have a lot of space for many people.
Pros:
-Location was convienent.
- Loved having a living room. There were toys my kids played with. We could eat at a dining room table and keep food in fridge.
-Management was fine.
Cons:
- House has wear and tear as many rentals do. I tried not to look too closely at the dirt, etc.
- The middle bedroom has no a/c which yes is disclosed. I did ask prior to our trip if the fan worked well and Lisa said definitely. I assumed it was a ceiling fan and was dissapointed to see it was just a tower standing fan. My poor husband volunteered to take the room. It was very very warm -it was August. I asked about a blow up bed (as many rentals do provide) so someone could sleep in an a/c room but there was an extra charge (would have been cheaper to go buy one).
- Just not a lot of personality with this place. It really has potential!
I do love having this place as a legal option. I'm not sure if I would stay again but we did have a lovely trip to NYC. Thank you Lisa.

Lovely Flat in convenient Midtown
My family (mother, aunt, cousin and I) had a wonderful time in nyc last week, with Lisa’s beautiful flat (“residence two” in the subdivided brownstone) serving as our home away from home. Upon arrival, we visited the Amish Market two blocks away to stock the kitchen with coffee, cream, fruit, cheese, crackers, etc. - fodder for early morning and late night conversations in the comfortable living/dining room. Our afternoons and evenings were spent at musicals (Lincoln Center and the Schoenfeld theater near Times Square), television studios (Ed Sullivan theater and NBC studios/Rockefeller Center all nearby), museums (the Met), stores (Soho shops and the Columbus Circle mall) and restaurants (many good ones in the neighborhood). The flat is perfectly situated to easily walk, taxi or subway to anywhere in Manhattan and beyond.
One item to note: there are two flights of stairs (three, if you count the stairs from the street) to conquer when staying in residence two (the top flat in the building). You will sleep well at night after a full day of walking and climbing stairs! If your exhaustion is not enough to keep you asleep, Lisa has kindly provided ear plugs and eye masks for any street noise and morning light :) :) :)

We absolutely loved this place! The style, the space and the neighborhood were exactly what the family was looking for. There's a great restaurant called Vise Versa a half block walk on 51st. I would advise, however, that there are a lot of stairs so for the elderly this could be a problem.

Excellent family trip to NYC
Exactly what you expect from the pictures and descriptions. Huge, open place for a large family/group to stay at. Could comfortably sleep 12. My family and I had a great stay here during my graduation week in NYC.

Good size and location
Communication beforehand was very good - booking was easy and we got contacted a couple of times by the concierge service before arriving. There was a lot of very useful info in the apartment too, which was helpful. The location is great for accessibility to major tourist sites, Central Park, and a number of different subway lines. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment is good for groups/families as there is a great communal living space. It's a good, large space by NY standards, but I would not categorise it as luxurious. Things that for us would have made it better were:
- configuration of beds, they are all double beds, it would have been useful to have a couple of rooms with twin beds.
- pillows - quite a few lumpy ones, which could do with an upgrade
- window coverings - there are no curtains in the bedrooms, there are blinds, which don't block light out sufficiently, which for children can be hard.
- the smallest upstairs bedroom (still a good size) has skylight windows, which aren't covered at all.
- the apartment was clean, but more attention could have been paid to the areas around the windows, which were a bit worn and looked dirty.
- couldn't control heating so it got too hot at times
- would have been helpful to have some soap/shower gel in the bathrooms.

Fantastic House!
Stayed with 3 other guys for a week long business trip and could not be happier with this house. Nice to find a house with so much room and accommodations so close to everything we needed in NYC. Lisa was easy to communicate and work with.
