Situated in Corolla, this charming condo for $225 per night is a great choice for your next break. A vacation in Corolla, NC is always a special experience, whether you like to enjoy the beach, swim in the pool, or explore the local shops, restaurants and endless outdoor activities. Carolina Moon promises to offer comfort and convenience for you stay. Carolina Moon is part of the Indian Summer Condominium Complex, located in section F of Ocean Sands. Most importantly, it is just a short walk to the beach! The beautiful stretch of beach is easily accessible for an early morning run, day of play in the surf, or a leisurely stroll as the sun sets. The northern stretch is protected dunes without homes or beach access…offering a rate stretch of solitude in Corolla. In addition to the perfect beach location, Carolina moon offers multiple amenities to make your vacation rental feel like home. The condo is about 1,000 square feet, updated with new flooring, decor, and a modern kitchen. It has two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and can sleep 6 people. The first bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds, while the master bedroom has a king bed. Both rooms have plenty of closet space, dresser drawers, TV/DVD players, and ceiling fans. The master bedroom has its own bathroom, while the second bathroom is located off of the main hallway. The kitchen boasts ample counter space and updated appliances. If you are interested in cooking some meals, the kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, bowls, dishes, glasses, and a variety of serving utensils. Another great area is Carolina Moon's large deck that overlooks the pool. Feel free to relax in one of our deck chairs, or enjoy a meal at the outdoor table. The pool is open roughly May-October, weather dependent. It is limited to the residents of the immediate condo area, and there are pool chairs available for your use. The pool starts with a shallow end and goes to a depth of about 5 feet. It is not heated but is quite a comfortable temperature in the summer months. There are also grilling stations(charcoal) on the property, as well as picnic tables and a covered area poolside. Carolina Moon is conveniently located next to shopping centers and restaurants as well. The Harris Teeter grocery store is just minutes away, as are several great places to grab pizza or a delicious ice cream cone. A short drive to the north will bring you to the Timbuck II Shopping Village which has over 60 shops and restaurants. If you enjoy tennis, there are courts a block away from the condo. For those who want to get in a round of golf, the Currituck Club is located directly across Route 12 and offers some stunning views of the Sound Side of the Outer Banks. Carolina Moon is on the second floor and requires guests to climb two sets of stairs. There is a private carport on the ground level that will fit two cars. Guests will have access to the outdoor storage closet which houses beach chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards, and a multitude of sand buckets and toys. Also note that while it is a short walk to the shore, there is a stairway over the dunes in order to access the beach. Each bed has a comforter, pillows, and extra blankets. However, guests will need to bring their own bed linens and towels. Referrals to a rental company that deliver and pick up can be provided upon request. Guests should also supply their own paper products(toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags). Carolina Moon has multiple books, games, and DVDs for your enjoyment. No pets allowed…This is an HOA mandate. Carolina Moon is conveniently located on the Ocean Side of Route 12 in Corolla, NC.

We had ants on the kitchen counter from the first day. The unit below C8 had a big dog with a loud bark.

They stay was great! All the things you need are there at the condo! Loved the pool and beach being so close! There was one issue trying to get into the condo but that could have been due to the early check in! Maybe time for a new key pad on the door, it’s a little janky, also the patio furniture chairs were very rusted at the bottom and need to be replaced, someone could cut themselves pretty badly. Other then that, the place was near perfect! Thanks so much! Would stay again 100%

We loved our stay at Carolina Moon!! The condo was decorated so adorably. It had everything we needed to have a great vacation. We loved how close it was to walk to the beach over the dune stairs. The beds were so comfortable. It was a huge bonus being able to wash clothes in the washer and dryer!! The pool at the complex was nice as well and it was almost like having a private pool. I took one star off because there were ants that ended up showing up in the kitchen around day 4 of our stay.

This rental is located super close to beach access as well as stores and restaurants. We'd definitely recommend for the location. It was also awesome that we could use the pool, which our toddler daughter preferred over the beach for this trip.
We did have a couple concerns about the cleanliness, though, as we found a dead fly, ants, and ant traps in the kitchen (we kept all food supplies in the fridge during our stay due to this).
We drove here, so it was easy for us to bring sheets, towels, etc, but might be inconvenient for those traveling from further away.

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It's very close to the beach, the pool is fun for the kids, and the porch is lovely to sit on in the mornings and evenings. Very clean and the kitchen had a good amount of dishes and utensils. Jen was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Definitely recommend!

We have stayed at Indian Summer Condos for 3 years. Carolina Moon was our favorite by far! It was updated, clean and stocked with everything we needed. We had a great week traveling between the beach and the pool. We plan to return next year!

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful property! Booking was easy and every question I had for the owners was answered promptly with friendly and helpful responses. I was so grateful . The property had everything we needed to make our week Perfect-every kitchen appliance, every Beach toy, and the location was soooo close to a private beach! It felt so safe and convenient to everything we needed and wanted. We loved the clean, refreshing pool and the other owners and guests were lovely! We made friends and had a fun family getaway! We hope to return to this exact spot next year! Can’t wait to come back!

Good location and a quick walk to the beach. Grocery store was right across the street. The owner was nice and quickly responded to my questions! We enjoyed seeing the wild horses.

On May 18th we checked in to our VRBO, It had not been cleaned. I discovered this when I was putting the sheets on the the queen bed. There was trash and empty water bottles on the floor and when I looked next to the bunks beds I found paper plates. candy wrappers, chips and dirt. I spent an hour and half cleaning. Bathrooms and kitchen were also not cleaned also. At 5:30 the cleaner showed up. He apologized for not coming and I showed him the trash. The host was fair and refunded us our last payment for the inconvenience. What a way to start our vacation! On our day of check out, I received a text from the host saying she was charging us for a broken bracket under the bunk bed
unit because it was pulled from the wall. She said that I unnecessarily pulled the unit from the wall. This was where the TRASH was.Her cleaners would have found it if the unit was cleaned. This was not my problem, it was her's. I contacted the host and VRBO and received no response I sent picture to the host and VRBO also no response. This is not fair. It is unprofessional. I will never use your service again, not give good reviews and not recommend you to anyone. I deserve a reply. This was not my responsibility.

Could not ask for a better layout of the condo! Deck was great to sit out on. Covered parking was a big plus for unpacking in the rain. Host was responsive and helped in anyway she could . Close to beach and harris teeter!

The condo was clean. Had to pack extra considering no linens or basics provided (prepare for that). The mattresses and tvs could use an update but overall were decent.

Carolina Moon was a very comfy apartment. We really appreciated the pool in the complex. Although I heated, it was perfect for the warm, summer like temps for our week in September. Walking to the beach was just a breeze, the walking /bike paths along Hwy. 12 and shopping close by, everything was very convenient!

Our vacation started of great with the ability to check in on time and get to the beach. The condo had plenty of space for the four of us and was relaxing during our down time. The kids loved the pool and the beach access behind the condo was fantastic. Beach days were made easy with the beach only a three minute walk. The condo is in a great location. A couple minute drive to multiple grocery stores, restaurants, shops and a ten minute drive to Duck. Can't wait to stay again.

The condo is perfectly sized for our family, the pool and the short walk I’ve the dunes to the beach were just as advertised. Clean condo, everything was spotless and very welcoming. The town has plenty to do, great food and the beach was easy going and relaxed.
Jennifer was super helpful and the entire experience was relaxing and exactly what we wanted. A perfect getaway and would do it again anytime.

Went there for long weekend. For mother daughter weekend. With my long time friend and are daughters. Great location. Short walk to the beach. The pool are was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Palace to eat close by. Grocery Store is across the street. They had nice beach chairs. So you would not have to bring your own. And if you have kids they had some beach toys. So I would rent it again.

This place is great for a small family. Short walk to beach, quick drive to many activities. Very Friendly neighbors. Will definitely be back. Make sure to bring linen, extra toiletries and pantry items that are needed.
