For a short stay in a new city, It was great to have a good dinner included, a good night's sleep, and breakfast. before a walk to the Värmlands Museum.

It is a beautiful building located minutes from the train station, right in the center of Karlstad.
We were in a small room on the 5th floor that didn’t have any windows that could be opened and it made it incredibly hot at night, making it difficult to sleep. The room had a very small fan that was completely inadequate for the situation, so I would say that in the summer, the hotel needs to invest in more powerful fans for these rooms or simply exclude them from the booking system. The only other matter, was that the dinner’s (which are included in the nightly rate) were a bit uneven in quality, out of three dinners, I would describe one as tasty. And it would be lovely to add a dessert of some sort.

Clean rooms with good bathroom, nice bed, reasonable prices, sauna and whirlpool available, good breakfast, location smack in the middle of town right next to the train station. And nice staff. Recommended.
