They pay attention to even the smallest details to make you feel like you’re truly in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Both the breakfast and dinner are delicious. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always greeting you with a warm smile. The location is excellent.
The Wi-Fi disconnects every time you lock your phone, so having to enter your username and password repeatedly becomes quite frustrating. The room is very small. It’s beautifully designed, with tasteful details and charming decor, but there are so many decorative elements that they take up much of the already limited space, both in the room and in the bathroom. As a result, it never really feels comfortable—you don’t have enough room to move around or to put your belongings. The pillows are either too firm or too soft; having a medium-firm option would make a big difference.

Tamarind Village is a welcome oasis off the plane from the uk with jetlag and from walking the bustling streets of Chiang Mai.
Its gentle and cooling green charm with the wonderful Tamarind tree and all flowers and plants is so special. The staff were also gentle and friendly and everything was impeccable. Luscious cooling pool for swimming and relaxing. Delicious and diverse food for breakfast and dinner. My family and I also loved the craft activities and very interesting and historic village walk.
I would recommend Tamarind Village as a great place to stay and return to.

The staff was so kind, helpful and flexible. They went above and beyond for our family by helping us with our travel plans, finding our lost items, and were so generous with the activities for our kids, making things work with our schedule.
We were on the bottom floor and the upstairs guests were quite noisy. We could hear them and had difficulty sleeping. The staff was very accommodating and tried their best to help the situation.

It’s a beautiful place
We had a lot of issues, for example the bed side lamp was not working, bed room key had issues as well and had to be changed, so it was annoying to have to go through all the trouble to get people over in your room and fix it, and the hotel didn’t really try to make up for any of these issues etc
