It's always hard to tell from photos online. It was even better than expected. The staff were super lovely. The property was beautiful and the pool was relaxing after a long, hot day of touring the Tuscany countryside. Breakfast was superb and we enjoyed our coffee and smiles from Pollina. Colle de Val D'Elsa near by was also a nice place to get supplies and the old hilltop town was interesting and great for a meal.
If I'm picky, the pillows were too hard.

Beautiful property, even better than the pictures. Comfy, clean, big bathroom with tub, amazing breakfast & restaurant for dinner. Wine is yummy… will return!
Pillows were not great. Room had a musty wood smell but other room was perfect.

The apartment was very big. Very good location in Tuscany. Pool was very nice (although would have loved longer hours).
1. We reservered a specific unit. We were sent a message that they changed a unit to a different apartment that is bigger in size, but we selected it specifically after seeing the pictures, and the 2nd untit was not as nice (decor was older). According to booking both units are the same size (makes sense since they are one on top of the other).
2. After reservation we were told that towels for the pool would cost extra 5 euro each. Kitchen was missing basic ingredients (e.g. Salt and Pepper) that usually a rented apartment with a kitchen includes, there were only 2 cooking utensils. The instructions were full of warnings: Dont change mode on A/C remote (turned out it was set to fan instead of cooling), dont change temperature, turn lights and A/C off when you leave. The feeling you get from all this is of a cheap place that looks to save a few euro on you.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is close to Siena, San Gimignano and can do day trip to Florence. Pool is good for hot days. Scenery is beautiful.
Apartment is rustic and can use updates. One bathroom has no curtain so it’s easy to splash water over the toilet when showering. They provide limited supplies, no extra trash bags, no paper towels or coffee. They up charge for pool towels and use of laundry facility. WiFi is spotty. Recommend doing research. There are several farm stays around Tuscany and with updated rooms, pools and offer free breakfast.
