Good option for a short stay if you can't find a place in town.

I was met at the Port by a driver who took me to the Apartment(15 min. drive)which is just outside the main town and given keys info. etc. At end of stay he picked me up and drove me back to Port for Ferry.The Apt is run by a Hotel near Port but Apt. has no Reception.Rooms were new and clean Bungalows with spacious Terraces outside. Although Apt. feels isolated off main road with no other people but actually quite a short walk(15 mins.)to Bus Station and Town,which is lovely,with lots of Restaurants,cafes and shops.

Unfortunately Wifi in Room never worked from arrival to departure.Only contact was a mobile number with staff trying to fix it.Never happened.I had to use wifi in town centre. However when I checked out I was given a generous discount on Bill which I thought very kind! Some solo travelers might find the Apartment a bit lonely as there are no other staff or people there.

Exceptional

Very modern, spacious and fully equipped rooms in the Cycladic style. The cleanliness was very good and the bed was very comfy. Myrtia, the owner, was very friendly, helpful and provided me with many suggestions on what to do in this beautiful island. She also picked me up at the port and brought me back. The location of the rooms is a few walking minutes from the centre of Chora and the bus stop, just perfect.

Just what we needed to start our island hopping trip!

Camares was ideally situated close to the Chora and within walking distance. The studio had everything needed for a simple stay. Lovely garden area to relax and enjoy the views! Very helpful host Myrtia who was easily contacted. Thanks for a lovely stay! Kathryn and Neil

Studio 10 min from chora center and 5 min away from bus stop

Myriam was really nice. She has picked us at the ferry and we had an early check in. Also, she kept our bags after the check out.

Great value for money and clean close to main town square accomadations!

Very clean room with nice small house-style accommodations. The host and the service were great and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily which was amazing!

The location does not have a great view. You can see the main church on the mountainside, but when u see the other views on the island you realize it lacks in that area. However, the location is only 5 mins walking distance from the main town.

We were a bit disappointed with our stay.

Good location, a 5 minute walk from the old town. The free pick up from the port was a bonus and the lad was very friendly and helpful. Not his fault the accommodation was poor and the internet didn't work.

Poor kitchen facilities and quite unclean, probably because the hob was old. You could not make a meal. The outside seating area was a concrete bench with no padding so very uncomfortable and no shade from the sun. There is no working internet despite what they claim. Some of the rooms have a view of a scrap yard and we listened to metal being crushed for the whole morning one day.

Great studio/room near the beautiful town center in folegandros

We came to Folegandros mainly to explore the island and stayed out most hours of the day, so the cosy detached studio was a perfect solution for us. Located near the Chora, bus stops and vehicle rental places are just a few metres away. The facilities were all working well and everything was clean. What we appreciated the most was the kindness of the staff, from tips on what to do in Folegandros to the lift at the port. We don’t take that for granted and we truly appreciated it.

Good value for money

Room was smaller than expected but clean. Was fine just for sleeping, did the job. However the host was very friendly and helpful! And offered transfer to and from the port.

Very good

Excellent location and it's walking distance from Chora. Myrtia is a great host: told us about a bunch of nice places to visit in Folegandros and picked us up at the port.

Wifi doesn't work well all the time.

Very tight room surrounded by an oversize terrace

+ free transfer from ferry (arrival planned at 00:35, arrived at 02:00 am !) as well as return transfer + terrace for private use on 3 sides of room, totalising more than 100 m2 ! + Clean bed sheets and towels + Cheapest place in Chora, at least at season ending

- house style basic - very tight room, only 15 m2, including toilet and small kitchen - very slow WIFI at day or night (and not secure acc. Avast ) - kitchen cleanliness below acceptable, not appealing to use - rust out of hot water piping , rinsing with cold water required

Perfect setting, excellent value for money

Myrtia was very helpful, always responded quickly and gave us fantastic tips for beaches and hikes around the island. Our apartment was perfect, quiet, only a short walk from Chora and all of the buzz of bars and restaurants. Very close to car/scooter/ATV rental which is necessary for viewing all of the gorgeous but remote site on Folegandros. Thank you for our wonderful trip.
