Lovely room, great view, close to the village, great pool

No fridge in the room

Loved its location. Very pretty and traditional. The pool area was lovely. The breakfast was traditional and good. The staff were very helpful especially Maria.

The beach umbrellas (available at reception) were all broken.

The pool area is **unsafe, worn down and completely unsuitable for young children**, with multiple broken tiles, exposed nails and uneven ground creating obvious hazards. The bathrooms are extremely tired and clearly in need of a complete refurbishment. They look as though they have not been properly renovated since the property was first established. This property is **nowhere near value for money**. Unfortunately, it feels as though guests are forced into paying these prices because of the high demand and limited accommodation available on Folegandros. The food was below average, and the hotel appears to be operating with very limited staff. Pool towels were not replaced, and there were not even enough beach towels available for our family of four because the remaining towels were being washed. There was also **no one available to assist with our luggage**, meaning we had to carry our bags ourselves up numerous flights of stairs. The overall atmosphere was extremely disappointing. Staff were frequently on their phones while working, and there was very little sense of hospitality or engagement. The hotel felt lifeless and lacked the atmosphere you would expect from a property charging these prices and presenting itself as a four-star hotel. We were also uncomfortable with the fact that **external guests are permitted to use the pool facilities**. Anyone can enter and use the facilities, which did not make us feel secure or comfortable, particularly as a family with young children. The welcome drinks felt rushed and impersonal, and overall the service lacked the level of professionalism and experience expected from a four-star property. Breakfast offered a reasonable variety, but the **quality was below average**. The coffee situation was particularly disappointing — instant coffee is provided at breakfast because the bar staff and proper coffee machine do not open until 11am, by which time breakfast has finished.
