Perfectly located just 1 mile from Ober Gatlinburg and 1.4 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Stairway to Heaven is a three bedroom log cabin located on Ski Mountain’s highly desirable Chalet Village area. Unlike resort or communities, our cabin is on 1.6 acres offering great privacy, spacious paved parking and a nice flat yard for kids to enjoy. Tastefully decorated, Stairway to Heaven has all the amenities you desire. There are three distinct, fully furnished king master suites, one on each level with private full bathrooms, as well as Roku smart TV’s in every room. The cabin comfortably sleeps 10 with a queen sleeper sofa in the loft and another queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The cabin is equipped with all the amenities you’d find at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen, including blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot. The game room includes a custom pool table, pinball, race game, 60 game arcade, Connect 4 and corn hole game. Unwind in the hot tub or swing on the porch while taking in the natural surroundings from 3 spacious decks. Spend some time outside roasting marshmallows in the fire pit or grilling on the charcoal grill and maybe get glimpse of a bear or more. This is our personal cabin, so you will receive personal attention, unlike that of Rental/Management companies. If you are looking for a place that gives the feeling of seclusion, but offers an abundance of activities, then this is the place for you.

We had a great time in this house! Very clean and had everything described! The wood fireplace was a bonus (I hate gas)! The kids enjoyed the games and we all enjoyed the hot tub! It was very clean! Thank you for making our stay in Gatlinburg memorable!

Well kept cabin in nice clean condition. Secluded with woodsy view. Very close and convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. Living room comfortably seats 5. We loved the upstairs loft bedroom as it gave us the extra room although I could see it could get a little warm in the summer months. Good communication with owner and would certainly stay again.

Perfect location, close to the heart of Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains.
We saw lots of wildlife, enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch swing and evening fire pit chats.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and just as described in the listing. The house is easy to get to and convenient to the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. My kids loved the game room, and we liked spending time on the porches and in the jacuzzi. We saw bears quite a few times, which was a highlight of our trip! Be sure to lock your car doors because the bears can open them! Overall we had a great time and would return to this cabin.

- Wildlife abounds, and there is a resident bear we saw a couple times. Including when he climbed in the car when we went inside for another load upon departure, but that is on us for leaving the door open!

- Take note that the 3rd level loft and bedroom is much warmer than the rest of the cabin. While probably not an issue in the winter or for folks with a cold-nature, it was too warm for us. Unfortunately, one couple wasn't able to come, so my spouse and I slept on the kitchen level where it was cooler. Otherwise, we would have been on the top floor and uncomfortable.
- The doors could use a good greasing, as the bedroom on the bottom floor was stiff and squeaky.
Overall, enjoyed our stay and glad we had the experience.

We loved everything about this cabin. Especially having a flat yard and a fire pit. There was so much room inside for all 8 of us. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. We come to Gatlinburg a lot and this cabin is our favorite so far. Even had a bear visit when we were checking out.

We had a group of six coming to see the Synchronized Fireflies at Elkmont and the cabin was a perfect spot. Clean, comfortable, and plenty of room to relax. The second floor porch was our gathering spot with no noise from Gatlinburg. And, just as the photos show… we had several close bear sightings, so keep the cabin doors and cars closed and locked with no food. Enjoy!

What a fantastic first time in Gatlinburg! The cabin was just 5 minutes from downtown, but felt secluded. We even saw bears at the property 4 of our 7 days there! Cabin was great, kids loved the pool table, and we all loved the hot tub.

My husband and I rented this cabin for a long weekend with two other couples. We were thrilled with cabin! It was beautiful, well stocked and very clean! And because there were three couples, the three master suites couldn’t have worked out better. They were all so beautiful! The kitchen was very well stocked with quality items. (If I had to make a suggestion to the owner, I would say the only thing missing was a can opener.) Thank you for providing a great space for a stay in the mountains! We would definitely rent here again if going back to the Gatlinburg area!

The 3 seperate floors with bedrooms gave us each some privacy when we weren't gathered together for fun and meals. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Beautiful cabin convenient to downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Perfect setup for families and couples alike with ensuite bedrooms and outdoor space on each level. Loved rocking on the deck enjoying the view of the woods. The firepit area is a great addition. Thanks Frank and Vivian for another wonderful stay!
