The whole resort has a lovely feel but unfortunately it was very wet for our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy it
When we arrived there was a large water stain on our bed. The ants were all over the couch area so we couldn’t sit there.
A man came and got on the roof and put plastic on top so it did stop dripping eventually and they changed the bed. I did let them know about the ants but this was not remedied before we left. The resort paid for our two small dinners as compensation. But it was disappointing as we paid a lot of money for our stay

Absolutely loved my stay at Tam Coc Garden Resort. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning nature ,exactly the kind of place you come to Ninh Binh for.
The entire resort has such a calm and authentic feel, and it was the perfect place to slow down and relax. The surroundings were gorgeous, the atmosphere was serene, and the stay felt very special overall.

Loved our stay here. The location is absolutely stunning - out of town amongst a lake and limestone cliffs. The grounds are beautifully manicured and we loved walking around spying different plants and trees. Our room was spacious, with a little porch on the lake and an absolutely gorgeous bathroom. Staff also put up a mosquito net each evening for additional comfort.
The buffet breakfast had huge variety. We dined at the restaurant each night to save the trip into town, the food and cocktails (Pho cocktail especially) was excellent.
The location is quite out of town - so be prepared to get a Grab for a few of the popular tourist spots or to go into town. A fair trade off for how beautiful and relaxing the grounds are though.

We stayed at Tam Coc Garden Resort for one night and, overall, had a very pleasant experience. The resort is set in a truly wonderful environment, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Tam Coc. The pool is fantastic, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay.
We particularly enjoyed the food at the resort’s restaurant, where we had both lunch and dinner. The food was tasty, varied and well prepared. Breakfast was also good, with a selection of dishes available à la carte, and we especially enjoyed having it in the lovely outdoor dining area.
On the positive side, the hotel kindly allowed us to stay after check-out, use the swimming pool and take a shower later in the day. This was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated.
There were, however, a few details that we feel could be improved, especially considering the resort’s five-star positioning. During an afternoon storm, we noticed a small leak above the wardrobe. We informed reception and someone came promptly to place a towel where the water was dripping. Later, while we were having a massage, the leak was properly fixed from the roof, which we appreciated. Nevertheless, given the inconvenience, we would have expected perhaps a small gesture from the hotel.
In the bathroom, there was a drawer labelled “amenities”, but it contained only two toothbrushes. For a hotel of this level, we found the selection rather limited. Similarly, the kettle in the room was placed on the floor next to the coffee table, which felt somewhat unusual and difficult to understand for a five-star property.
Around the pool, we would also have appreciated having the jacuzzi fully operational, as only a few of the jets were working.
