Right at the corner of the Saturday Lindengracht Market and the Monday Noordermarkt market. 15 Minutes walk from Central Railroad station Amsterdam. Walking distance to Anne Frank House, Shopping Centre Damsquare, and tram 3 brings you in 5 minutes to Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum. Please check our reviews about the location, etc! Excellent location in the heart of Jordaan with many cafes, restaurants and easy access to all that Amsterdam has to offer.
Very large and comfortable bed, nice deep bath and powerful shower - just the tonic after dsys out sightseeing. The room came with a mini fridge, nespresso coffee machine and toil too
Frances was quick and easy with communication, and gave us tips on where to eat locally.
Great place to stay and great host!!

Frances was a great host. The room was very clean and cozy. Easy access to everything. Our host told us where we could get many things like groceries etc. There were 2 markets very close to the apartment on Saturday. Thank you for being our host.

The location of the flat is fantastic and the owner is very kind.
There are also two bicycles which is perfect for exploring Amsterdam.
Unfortunately it is very humid in the flat as the windows are not well insulated.
We would still love to come back :)

The small appartment is perfect for two people. It's close to many sights in Amsterdam's city centre and the house is made in the typical Jordaan style. It's authentic, really nice and clean. The landlady is very friedly and we felt very welcome. We enjoyed our stay and surely will come back!

Firstly, the host was amazing. My flight was delayed but that wasn't a problem for Frances, even though I kept her up past her normal bedtime!
Very friendly host, cracking location and price. Didn't get chance to say goodbye as had a very early start. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I came for a couple nights. This place is excellent if you plan to stay for a few days. The bikes were an awesome perk. We used them basically the whole time. Quickest way to get around the city and makes for a fun experience. The host is friendly and welcoming. We felt very comfortable and it was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable stay at Francis’ apartment. Was just when we needed to explore Amsterdam. Just a short 15 minute walk away from the sights and buzz of the city centre. Francis made us feel very welcome, showed us in and left us to it, which after a long journey was very welcomed! Would recommend Francis’ place for other avid travellers!

The house is in a beautiful area, with plenty of things to do, restaurants, bars, coffee, supermarket, all within walking distance and close to different transportation stations. Frances provide us with bikes and this truly helped with our experience. The room has everything you need and more.
Frances was very communicative since the booking, instructions were clear and she is lovely, we appreciated our experience with her.

The property is located in an excellent location. Everything was clean and we had a lot of privacy despite is being technically a shared apartment. Frances was very welcoming and had a lot of unexpected amenities.
If you're on the fence, definitely book this place.

My wife and I were looking for a budget conscious place to stay on the first 4 day leg of our European vacation. Location, location, location!
Opening right onto a quiet side street in the Jordaan -a block from the market (Saturdays)- everything we wanted to see and do was less than a 20 minute walk away save for the Van Gogh Museum. That walk was twice as long, but we included The Anne Frank House on the way, so -winning! If you chose to bike- and you just HAVE to get out on the included bikes!- you cut those times significantly.
The place IS small, and the toilet IS shared (non-issue) but the location and price- and an awesome host who connected us with a great ride back to EDI!- make this an unbeatable choice for checking out Amsterdam.

Very cozy small room, you have all the basic services in an easy and very polished way.
The best is its location; a quiet neighborhood, with picturesque streets and very close to the center to move around without difficulty (bicycles help you enjoy the experience).
As a suggestion I would incorporate a microwave to better optimize services.

This property was absolutely perfect for our 1 week honeymoon! Frances is the sweetest and really made us feel comfortable and welcome! The Jordaan area is perfect for being close to Amsterdam Station and not too far of a bike ride away from the city center. I cannot wait to book again :)

Great location and it was very handy having the bikes. Even though its at street level we slept fine with the window closed. There is a private shower/bathroom and a shared toilet just through the hall. Just one criticism, the room and bedding smelled quite strongly of damp/mould.

Francis was a great communicator! Her room is located close to public transportation. The shared toilet was never an issue! If you need a place to sleep and shower, this is a great option. If you have any respiratory issues, note that there is a slight odor of mildew. Otherwise, the room is an excellent space for sleeping!

Everything was as expected given the listing, we really enjoyed staying here. Yes, the room is small with not much space to store belongings, but it works very well if all you really need is a place to sleep and shower considering we were out seeing all the great things Amsterdam has to offer during the day. The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet too, with lots of great cafes and restaurants very close by. Frances was also very friendly, thanks again!

My husband and I were very satisfied with Frances accommodation. The place is tiny and cozy and sufficient for sleeping, resting and coffee. The location was perfect for orienting ourselves in Amsterdam. Frances was kind and helpful and easy to communicate with.
