Coming from Canada to Amsterdam for the first time was a bit intimidating, but Frances gave us great advice prior to our trip and greeted us so warmly upon arrival. We knew right away we have made the right choice.The location was excellent. We walked everywhere and it became a great hub to go back and recharge from.The room was small but had everything we needed, including a fridge for milk so we could make our own coffee and tea (provided). The bed was very comfortable and we slept well, except for a few loud characters walking by outside on the street. If you are a light sleeper, the street noise could be a problem but we were exhausted each night and slept well. We didn't turn on the tv once, but it's there. We were happy to have use of a hair dryer and Frances supplied shampoo, conditioner and body wash and lots of towels. The toilet is shared with Frances, but was never an issue. If we ever venture back we will stay here again!Thank you Frances for the wonderful experience.

Stayed for 5 nights in may 26. Room as.described with kettle,coffee maker, local information, shampoo, conditioner & body wash towels. Large supermarket 5 min walk with everything you need. Sights all within walking distance or trams. Easy walk from Amsterdam central. Thank you Francis for letting us stay x

Nice but way smaller than I expected. Very crowded for even 2 people. Host , Francis is lovely.
