If you like to be overcharged and underserved - this is your place!
The property looks amazing from the outside, and the restaurant area and pool were especially nice. I liked that a bedroom had an air conditioner, and the kitchen included all the equipment we needed. The hotel provided bathing towels and pool towels too.
Holiday Homes AG lacked basic information and support. They don’t own the property, and they couldn’t provide the exact address or a phone number we could reach for questions.
Check-in/payment confusion. I had already printed a voucher showing full payment of over €600 for 3 days, but at arrival there was no record of the payment. It turned out that the total costs were not as expected: the family room was €420, plus €40 cleaning, and €13.50 tax, which they claimed was “included.” In the end, I had to pay an additional €40 on top of the amount already paid.
Unresponsive and unhelpful communication. Holiday Homes AG was nearly impossible to reach for confirmation. When I finally got through, I was left dealing with unprofessional behavior and constant calls to different numbers for about 40 minutes. As a “courtesy,” we were given a bottle of water for the inconvenience.
Very impractical room access and basic cleanliness issues. Room 27 is not on the second floor—it requires climbing many stairs with a large suitcase. For the price (over €200 per night), the service and standard felt far below expectations. The bed had crumbs, no one had cleaned under it, and there was dust and cobwebs around. Even though pots and dishes were provided, they required scrubbing before use.
Uncomfortable staff behavior. Whenever we went out, staff stared at us in a way that felt unpleasant and judgmental.
Pool hours were restrictive. The pool opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 7:00 p.m., which left us with very limited time to enjoy it.
