WOW ! This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Blown away. Pity we didn't make it before the kitchen closed as I am sure the food would have been outstanding. A little gem in a town I had never heard of before.

It seemed our room had been recently renovated. The shower was leaking under the glass panel. I thought the water was brown when it came out the shower, however it was sand. The entire shower had not been cleaned before our stay. The main bedroom had side lamps hanging from the ceiling and the switches were high, which meant you had to get out of bed to turn them off. The lamps also had no frames, so you had a bulb shining in your eyes all the time. The room was dusty (Probably from the renovations) so we spent a fair bit of time sneezing.

The lady who welcomed us was great, really friendly and helpful Hotel rooms were great

We were effectively locked in at night. All entry doors securely locked until 7am, so if I had wanted to go for an early morning walk it would have been out of the question. We were there for one night, planned to leave at 8am. Woke up to no water, neither hot nor cold. Luckily we had some bottled water so were able to brush our teeth but we could not shower before starting an 8 hour car trip. Really not acceptable for the rates that were charged, and I think we should have received some compensation for this huge inconvenience. However we weren't even offered a bottle of water.... Disappointing.
