Everything was great considering it lies so close to the sahara desert. Pool is awesome and staff is great

The staff at Ziz Palace are very kind, friendly and helpful and make the stay very pleasant. The hotel itself is in a great location for exploring the area and is only 30mins from Merzouga. The rooms are large and very comfortable, with good beds and everything clean and tidy. The bathrooms are very good with good showers. There is aircon/heating which works well. The decor is very very nice. There is a great pool with chairs/loungers and sun shades, which is a nice place to relax after a day out. Breakfast was included which was really good. There is plenty of parking and the staff went to extra lengths to look after my motorbike which was much appreciated. There is a new mini supermarket/shop next door which is very convenient.
This was my second visit to Kasbah Hotel Zia Palace Rissani and I hope to stay again in the future.

Nice hotel
The description on the Booking.com is very deceptive. Nothing is true - no view but a wall, no living room, entrance,walk in dressing and separate bedroom…

A convenient location, with a nice pool and pleasant building and outdoor area. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and the breakfast was average.
Even though it's a beautiful building with tasteful rooms and decoration, we felt that there was a lack in maintenance, as the shower head was no longer working properly, the shower drainage was severely blocked, the hairdryer was missing and the wifi was not working at all in our room. It should also be mentioned that the walls are very thin allowing you to enjoy the neighbours conversations. When mentioned to the staff, we felt politely ingnored in our feedback and the conversation was swiftly changed to trying to sell us camel rides and other activities instead.
