And the food was some of the best we had while in Italy

We loved staying here. The people who work here are amazing. So friendly, so accommodating. The breakfast is awesome! Some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. I enjoyed eating breakfast every morning surrounded by the beautiful grounds that the hotel sits on. Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore the area. Pisa is 15 mins away by car and Lucca is about 20 mins away.

Liked that they were pet friendly
There was no breakfast buffet, pillows were't comfy, restaurant prices were high for what was offered (both fish dishes ordered were served with the skin hidden by sauces).
